What are they teaching you?

In phrases such as 'respect your elders' they don't mean 'respect people who are older than you' they mean respect people who are older because with time they have more experience.... but that isn't the case.
Quote:
A religious elder (in Greek, presbuteros) is valued for his or her wisdom, in part for their age, by the logic that the older one is then the more one is likely to know. The concept of an elder was common in parts of the world where what is now called civilization had taken over. The elders in the Bible were also called Scribes or Pharisees. ...

It's used more in the sense of respecting people who are higher up than you are.

Quote:

The term Elder (or its equivalent in another language) is used in several different countries and organizations to indicate a position of authority. This usage is usually derived from the notion that the oldest members of a group are the wisest and thus most qualified to rule, provide council or some other form of leadership.

No, it means exactly what it said.
Respect people who are older than you.

True, that it also meant to imply that those who are older are more wise and thus deserve your respect, but it isn't a necessarily requirement to get respect when you are old. And unless you can prove that one is less wise then the other..kinda off topic.

no, a trip to six-flags with myself, my g/f(2nd one), parents, and 2 of our friends, followed by a celebration at home, followed by a hangover.

That was fun, let's do it again!

Drinking at home eh?
Dont like drinking at home all that much.
I always end up poundin it back way to fast.

Like a 26er of JD is like a 20 minute sit for me if Im chillin at home, drinking by myself. Then Im outta booze.
Its not like if I buy more it will last that much longer. I just keep drinking till I start feeling something...which isnt a smart thing to do, hence the reason I tend not to drink alone or at home.
Usually, a friend will say something like "Fuck, Ray, calm down with the liquer" or something like that.

I dunno tho. I think I may go grab a two-four today...if I can summon the energy to get dressed Laughing

I go through 1.4L + of ballenties a weekend (fri / sat).
I hate JD. I once bought it like couple months back... i think i still have some left. Haha. I love whisky. That and tequila. Oh man. I love tequila. I can just drown my self in tequila and I'll be very happy.

Yeh, for me, when drinking in public it's either beer or nothing. I hate beer, so I won't consume as much = save money.

If anything I always go to colossus to see a movie.
They got a nice bar upstairs.
Drink a few before the movie starts.

Yeah, as you can see, I need a job to afford drinking at bars. It’s just too expensive for me.

Well, starting tomorrow, I need a job too so i feel your pain man. Hence the drinking Smile

You dont like Jack? JD is the shit man. Wiser's is pretty good too.

My drink is cognac (sp? i think its spelled like that). Or, if Im at a bar, brandy or some kinda slow sipping liquer.
See, my friends are idiots. They bring a ton of dope with them, smoke like chimneys and drink like fish...retarded. Do one or the other you know?
So I get a nice big brandy and smoke dubes all nite when we go out to the bar/club.

I mean fuck, what club was it again...? I think it was Lucid...I dunno, we went to some club we went to the other weekend right. $9.95 a fuckin BEER! seriously...I got like a $35 dollar brandy (the bartender gave me a full glass, dunno if thats normal or she liked me Razz ) and thats it.
My one buddy ended up spending over $400 on drinks for him and 2 girls he was trying to pick up...fuckin crazy man.
I dont mind buying women drinks...but at 10 bucks a drink, I better be gettin sucked off afterward

What is Ballenties business? never heard of it.

Injurious, Holy shit that's a lot of booze if that one the weekend right. Are you sharing?! Next time you get blood work done have them check your AST/ALT levels.

Kicking it back at home with all the amenities is the best. 52 inch TV (good for double vision) big bag of movies (40% of which I haven’t seen), good friends who can crash in a spare bedroom less worries. And my own clean bed with soft sheets. I can make my own pub food. Its just a cheeper way to drink.

On a more positive note-------I am approaching my tiny tiny drinking window and I intend to take advantage of it. The plan is NOT to ne sick the next day. The date I believe is going to be around the 10th may. 2 days
.

Whiskey 12 years of aging. You have Expensive taste.
Wild Turkey is fine for me, Bourbom is a type of whiskey right?

I am on med's so I can't cuz its too hard on the body and they are making me really sick so its no fun drinking anyway. Sad But I am not on them all the time so I have windows. Very Happy... and that is all I have to say about that.
