That's awesome unleashed the game has been released for a few weeks already as a clone, that didn't require the IDE drives unplugged..
and honestly if you're not going to do a template worth looking at why not use the existing thread: http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22273&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Great a simcity clone... Does this game actully have anything that Sim city 4 doesn't?

Also its rated 3 and up!? If a 3 year old can actully play this game I don't think its for any serious gamer.

Its not rated 3 for ability, its rated 3 for content.
This game only has the culture system which SimCity doesn't. Simcity on the other hand has a lot of things this game doesn't, like good gameplay.

It was more than a coupel days ago, i got it last week and it had been out for some time then.
April 30th is a date suppiled by one site. It also had a mini-image.
Honestly this should be nuked for being pointless.

You have to use the Patchtool and you need to have the media listed in it, not the cheap rubbish you get somewhere, you need to have the Premium version of the media listed, like Sony Supremas.

i did everything listed in the nfo

i used platinum cd's

what i didn't find was " Leave TOC unmodified " in the nieuw a120%
i can only choose " keep toc as on source cd, write until end of image file"
" modify lead out adress to the length of the image file"
" keep toc as on source cd, write until lead out adress"

burned 2 times...with the first option , and second with the last option
both doesn't work

and my lowest burning speed is 8, i can't choose 4

The release.
Release works but a working release was the p2p release weeks ago.

Yup this is a lot like Reloaded releasing a cracked TS2: Open for Business. Completely pointless. Sims games have been clones for years because maxis updates and no one bothers to stick around and crack the patches, they're often necessary. Suddenly coming in in the middle of a franchise and cracking one EP was stupid.
and what a shock, reloaded hasn't released a fixed exe for the patch either..

This game has been out for 2 weeks as a clone working in no different manner. Just because unleashed finally got around to it doesn't justify a release as far as I'm concerned.

Right, first you whine that a "group" release a clone when there already is a clone circulating..
Then you will whine that the clone got released when Reloaded releases a cracked one..
Always complaints.

That's right.
What does it do for anyone two weeks later to release a clone with your name on it when there is already a working clone that is out there? Nothing. Someone already beat you to the punch, suck it up and move on.

As for reloaded's crack, they released a crack to an EP for a series that has traditionally used clones for a very good reason. The clone was already out, working, and a crack was again pointless. It was a complete waste of time.

It's actually one complaint just two scenarios. Groups releasing pointless stuff just to get their name on something. I'm not sure how that equates to "Always complaints".

and you'll want to play it before saying that. Its much like some other game.. very shiny, but the gameplay is completely lacking. It has cultures which is interesting, but doesn't add much to the gameplay. Its all too easy to avoid culture war, so it becomes little more than background noise. It lacks any of the depth that made Simcity fun, and since it was so heavily compared to simcity in previews you'd expect a lot more out of it.

I played the full game. a week or so ago. I played it for about 15 hours over 3-4 days. Just not that great. In the thread above I detailed many of the issues I had with the game.

Yes because reviewers are always dead on. I can't even begin to count the times I've seen reviewers just make crap up and pull scores out of their ass.
I'm not stopping you from downloading it and trying it yourself. I'm just telling you the probelms I've seen with the game:
1) Building repetition is horrible. There are massive areas in cities where you only have 1-3 different building styles and they're very close.
2)Mayor is inexplicably in charge of footing the bill to run businesses, grocery stores, etc.
3)Can't find any way to figure out how much power you're producing and how much you're using besides "not enough, or more than enough"
4)Service areas are too small for things like stores, and hospitals
5)While you can make income on certain buildings, inexplicably you can't on things like grocery stores.
6)Traffic handling is a joke compared to Simcity
7)no zoning. You just place individual building.
8)Culture aspect of game way too easy to ignore
9)seems to be a major bug with the budget where it doesn't actually charge you for any of the energy producing bulidings you have (the monthly cost)

That's just a start
pros:
1)its shiny
2)walking around your city in first person mode is kinda neat
3)3D element is well done, so you can place buildings/roads on an angle, though they didn't really explain that well how to do so.

i agree with glottis sure reviewers sometimes may get it wrong or just differ in opinion to your view but when the game is consistently getting good reviews http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/930964.asp theyre usually right so try for yourself dont just listen to one dissatisfied players opinion.
