Logitech Cordless PS2 Desktop set and a Logitech MX518 on USB.
SB Audigy 2 ZS
All drivers up to date

Latest drivers ofcourse and I did not have 1 single issue with this game, not one!
Mount and install with DT and run with CureROM, all latest versions.

Been there, done that. It must be sumthin else...

BETA driver and no problem

Actually they are called 84.42, but no those didn't help either.

For nVidia try rolling back to a set of drivers from about december 05

Probably the only thing I have not tried recommended on these forums. I'll report tomorrow if it helped.

I put in my old G4 4200 and now it crashes as soon as it gets passed the intro movies. Right where that text comes on the screen it just kicks me back to desktop.

Using Nividia's latest drivers...this game is ridiculous.

Just tried the omega's, same thing, crashes after the intro movies. I'm switching back to my ati.

I think that one problem may be minumum vertex shaders and pixel shaders which 2.0 are required for both. My Radeon 9250 has 1.1 vertex and 1.4 pixel. So I went back to my onboard x200 radeon just for test purposes. Used the "Can you run it?" on the page for Blood Money and this is what I got.

The wierd thing is that the card is reported to fail but passes all the specs just fine. Haven't tried to run the game yet, but wanted to share this for everyone.

Nope its 84.43...not sure it matters for you to make it work but that is the latest beta, and thats what I run.

Tried to run it on a Radeon 9250 and was really slow even at the lowest setting. Like I said earlier I think it has to do with Vertex and Pixel shading which the 9250 doesn't have the right levels

Check out the picture comparisson I did earlier in this thread. The Shaderquality Low Setting should be SM1.0, but as you see it neither helped me nor does it look good enough to be playable.

Nope, still didn't work out for me Sad

I got performance problems too... funny thing i've noticed in the second level: when i started the game, i got about 35-40fps at the first scene, when you face the entrance with the guard standing next to it... after some playing, the framerate dropped... i restarted the level to check, and then got only about 20 fps at the exact same scene! So it seems that performance drops over time... could be some kind of memory leak, though i got 2 gigs of ram...

Anyone else noticed that or could someone check that?

I did notice something similar when playing the first level, but I wasn't sure if it was really so. Sometimes when I didn't move the mouse, it seemed like the game was running moreless fluently, but I didn't have my FPS counter on to be sure. Then when I moved the mouse again, the whole stuttering started again.

TBH I haven't played any further than the first level, I just can't bother messing up my gaming experience because of this and then get a bad impression of the game.

Got performance issues here on an 2GHz AMD XP Athlon, 1GB DDR, ATi ASUS 850xt and Audigy 2 ZS platinum Pro. It's frikkin weird.

I put it all onto lowest settings and no improvement, in fact when I try to run in lower resolution it crashes as well. It's not a low FPS as such but a strobed stuttering type effect.

Sad

I read in a lot of forums that ATI owners have had problems with this game. Mainly with the demo, but none the less. Maybe check ATIs homepage for fixes...
Found this thread, might not help much but rather confirms the probs.

lol I'd settle for a steady 27fps, the problem here is that it jitters and stutters between different frame rates.
