Can't imagine it being disabled in the first place so don't get your hopes up but you can find it by entering your BIOS and changing it within there. If you don't know how to do this you'll have to read up on it...

Fastwrites did it for me. Remember ATI users, you have to allow fastwrites in the ATI control panel also.

Performance prob here to, sometimes i get 20 fps soetimes 5.. I have an 6600GT and an AMD 64 3800, 1 gig ram . Should be enough. I hope there comes a patch for this because im not buying this game when i have this shitty performance.

OK well I seem to have fixed my problem I dont know if it will work for you guys but here it goes. I changed my AGP aperature size for 64 to 128 and it seemed to have boosted the shit out of my game.
PS: The game engine is sensitive to overclocking so set it all back to defaults EVERYTHING! Works.

Im also having problems with the graphics with all the lagging...I think that my fast write is enabled look...-->http://i4.tinypic.com/10e0epx.jpg Is there another way to fix this problem or just wait for a fix patch or a crack ?

My Fast Write is on my game slowly... and i don't why my system is
ATI RADEON 9500
RAM 1500
P 2.6
it is good? for game?
PS- when i do 1024x768 and put very low settings my game is slowly to! why this?

9700pro same probs, fastwrite already on, aperature size already 128. gonna have a look around, lets hope IOI can get this sorted.

Interesting you say you need to enable it in ATI Control Panel. I don't have it installed anymore so I can't fupping check! But I do rememer from previous fiddling that it didn't seem to save any settings I put in that page although I do also fainly remember fastwrites being enabled (my bone of contention was with the AGP setting).
Anyway I think this is not hardware or driver related - it is software related, and more specifically... Hitman related. Something is WRONG with a capital W, R, O, N and G.

all eidos games have shitloads of bugs and work for something like 50% of the people.
they simply suck
a patch is not going to solve this

Okay just reinstalled the latest Catalyst drivers;
and this is what happens when I put slider all the way to 8xSpeed (it is set to AUTO in bios and won't let me change it).

My system is Sempron 2600+ with latest v6.5 beta driver,In the SMARTGART Options the Fast Writes is grayed and is also Off. What's the problem and how can I enable the these options?
The AGP speed is at 8x and the fast read is also off in the ATI control pannel. I also can't enable these options.I tried Retest it doesnt do anything...
I'm sure that the AGP fast write option is set to auto detect in my BIOS settings.
Any ideas to enable these options?
