My familyname is in there.

But it says right there on the link you supplied in bold letters "Blauwe Boekje is geen adel", scroll down.

True Praetori,

"Zij gingen de hoge adel vormen. Daarnaast ontstond de lage adel, als vrucht van het leenwezen."

De term lage adel is in onbruik geraakt en wordt dus niet meer gebruikt. En het blauwe boekje staat dus vol met lage adel.

My point was that it is not uncommon to name your son exactly as you especially in (lower) nobility.

Ah, I see.

So, any examples of what your family has done for the last 150 years?

No need to name names of course, but any prime ministers? Artists? Et cetera?

I guess you are going to follow the tradition then? I suppose it would piss your family off if you didn't.

Isn't it enough that you carry your family's surname. I'm glad i'll be able to name my children whatever I want without feeling guility.

First your wife has to agree Wink

If I had a say in anything, I'd call my kid Herbert. Herbert is a cool name.

Hey herb, fetch me a beer!
Herb, fetch me the remote!

*smack* Don't you talk to your mother like that, herb.

Loool! Those rare names are slick, naming your kid bob, james, frank, dave... it's like... half assed! That's why I love my name, Waldo. Not Wally! Wally/Walter are common Wink Waldo it's like... Your name's waldo! Wow! Your parents must've been drunk when they’ve came up with it. ANd I go, yeah? At least I'm not named after a giant male reproductive gland! PWN!

Then I'd disappear into a crowd and them gangstas will be sayin' where's that fag, where's waldo! And since I’m a retard I’d give away my position by laughing at loud. Then they'll say, there's waldo, behind the wizard and I'll just laugh my ass off as they try to ass rape me in a crowded room full of DnD gamers Laughing

Oh Lol.

X is a sweet name, though.
Ecks.

Now we need a Sever and we’ll have a real life ecks vs sever! LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Nothing better then curling up in bed with a good book in a down duvet after a hot bath while drinking tea. Even better when its raining and the window is open. Nothing like the smell of an old book.

Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed (yes I know it's not a yawn icon but im gonna use it like 1)

You're 32 not 72. Yes books are good to read in the bath or when having a shit, but in bed? fuck that I wanna sleep when I get into bed. The fact that i'm not in the bed long enough to read one page probably has some effect on this though.

I'm currently (finally) reading Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. I got round to buying the paperback last week and so far it's been pretty good, but I like his other work too. I'd read about 100 pages of this already (ive started from the beginning though) but it's making slow progress now. Mostly because I haven't got the time, or I haven't had a bath for 5 days, instead ive been having showers (for the first time since like ever).

Neway is you think X is a bad name what about those who name there kids after a certain red and white striped jumper wearing - cane carrying - rucksack wearing - guy who seem's to go missing a lot within crowds of people.

You can’t read a book in the bath you will wreak it. LOL
I am a shower in the morning and a shower after I get home from working and then have a bath at night.

I only read in bed at night before I go to sleep, not too comfy for a long period of time. Mostly I read outside on a swing or on the couch with the TV on.

I am reading “The River” by edward Hooper.
“IS AIDS disaster inadvertently brought on by humans in the early testing of a polio vaccine?... This remarkable book offers tantalising clues to revive and expand this theory” Pretty interesting book.
Haunted? Is that the same as the movie? I am too lazy to google, maybe I will later

edit - I see the waldo, I see the waldo,

Back to this name business I have a weird name.
Well not really, my first name is normal but no one calls me that. Instead it seems I have been givena boys name for a nickname. My dad always wanted a son.

About names, Sweden is even more chill on names than here. Iv heard about a pair who called their kid "sussegullet". How short minded can you be?
He sued his parrents when he got older.

And there was a guy in prison here in Norway who changed his middleanme to "uskydlig" witch means innocent.

@krik - I wish i could press ctrl+f to find waldo Razz

lol ... that's the Pahluniuk book with 'Guts' in it, right? Everyone should read that short story -- it's fucking awesome (and one of the grossest things I've read!)...

I don't have that much time to read anymore since my commute to work is now almost non-existant. I just finished up the latest Chomsky ... and now I'm starting on this monster (1300 pages!) ... I have no idea how I'm going to finish it in a reasonable amount of time ...Neutral

I find books are usually twice as good as the movie.

Books are the best. You can visualize your own shit and kinda make up the story in your head as you go. I find reading far more interactive and enjoyable than watching a movie.
Books are wicked Smile
