didnt work for me either. i still think they just fixed the issues with the high end vid cards firts. hopefully they are working on the mid- and lower end cards now...

The patch is here

When you use it make sure you pick ENGLISH as the language.
Mount the image with DAEMON tools and then use the latest verison of Secure to lunch the Hitman EXE.
The Reloaded crack WILL NOT work on the patched version of Hitman. I mean common sense should tell you that.

I done all that and get the following error message
A required security module cannot be activated.
This program cannot be executed (12003).
Any ideas ?

make sure you are using the latest version of Deamon tools and secure rom loader. You should have no problems in running this game. But you have to make sure that you are loading the main hitman exe file with securerom (NOT THE shortcut).
1.Mount image with deamon tools
2. open up secure rom (the ASR.EXE file)
3. find the himan directory and pick the exe file
4. play the game
works for me everytime

Done all that, still no luck. I get the following message
Wrong disc inserted.
Please insert the original "Hitman Blood Money english" CD/DVD.

Well for me, before the patch, i run the hitman BL with no problem using curerom but couldnt use the securerom loader 1.2, after the patch using the same method of curerom, i get the Emulation detection error. why?

I use the same method as Delta0311 except i use a mini image instead of the full image, worked for me and the patch doubled my fps on my ATI card.

Get Securom Loader 1.2, Update Hitman Bloodminey with 1.1 patch. Place ASR.exe in the hitman folder. Edit your desktop shortcut to look like this. (with the proper drive labels of course.) <- this works just as well as the crack. And its automatic. you don't have to look for the EXE.
Also I'll check and see if a mini image works and post back. EDIT- There are no mds images on gamecopyworld it would seem >< EDIT2- There is an MDS file packed with a Fixed image here. Trying now. EDIT3- WORKS. Make sure you are mounting the MDS file. NOT the MDF. MDF will be recognized as a backup. | Code: | | http://dl.gamecopyworld.com/?d=2006&f=x200x-hbm!zip |
Ignore the other files. Just copy the MDS and MDF files to the same folder and mount the mds in daemontools.

I have everything set to low, but the framerate still sucks.

hehe weird, I was about to post on how not even asr was working for me after the patch, then I forgot the error message I was getting and tried running again, just to see that message, only this time I forgot to mount the mini image, so i got the no dvd in drive message, after I mounted it, tried running again expecting to get the error and oddly enought it worked...
dunno what was happening before, still I hope the crack comes quick.
here the patch seemed to give me a litle fps boost, the greatest improvement on performance was on the menu hehe, it used to lag quite a bit, the game was playing great though after I turned fastwrites on, it really slows down when there are to many of them bystanders onscreen, but that was expected since I have a pos of a machine, everything is set to high but aa and af(2x each), but I did in fact noticed a small fps boost while playing.

well, my guess is that since its a pci card it does not support fast-writes so... are you sure its pci? I've never seen a 256MB pci card.

Yeah, its a pci.I stupidly ordered from Dell with NO knowlege of computers and it didn't come w/ an AGP slot.

yeah dell sucks, anyway, even after the patch you get bad fps? maybe on a upcoming patch they'll fix this, though I wouldn't count on it, pci cards are really bad for games, pci bus is nothing compared with agp, also the gf5500 series is not that great and the ammount of memory on the card is really useless if you can't get the data in and out fast enough...(since its pci and all)

are you absolutely sure there's no agp slot?
also did you tried all standard stuff?
cleaning your hd, defraging, checking for spyware or viruses
also make sure there are no irrelevant processes running on the background.
make sure you have the latest directx version also the latest driver for your gfx card, there is a directx update from this april or something, windows update won't show it though(if you allready has v9C), so you'll have to manually download the DX web installation from M$
and of course the latest forceware drivers you can get on nvidia's site.(on this matter, allways make a clean install of your drivers, uninstall old ones, run driver cleaner, then install new ones.)

im using my copy of this game as a coaster now. fucking eidos releasing nothing but a beta. with a 6600 i should at least be able to run it smoothly on low settings...but nada
1024x768 everything maxed out: 5fps
800x600 everything on low: 7fps
either one looking into the sky: 50fps+

oh just remembered for the peeps who cant get it started anymore (emu error etc.)
i had that problem myself after installing the patch and what i did was, i moved one file frim the BM directory to a temp one (just for testing purpose in case its still needed) and voila it worked with asr again 
the file you have to move is ENCVAG.DLL
