Post the most intensive world moments that you've witnessed that had changed the way you think or that you lived to be the best or worst moments you could ever imagined.

mine are the following:

-Expo 92 in Sevilla, Spain.

-Expo 98 in Lisbon, Portugal, went 9 times and it was a great event.

-Lord of the Rings - Return of the King gets 11 Oscars and it was considered worldwide one of the best, if not the best movies of all time, and a perfect and emotive adaptation to the Tolkien books.

-Euro 2004, here in Portugal, despite of our lost against Greece in the final, it was an awesome time.

-The attack on that Russian school 2 years ago were several students were slaughtered.

-The Tsunami that hit several Asian country's in 26 december 2004 killing at least 220.000 people and leaving many more homeless and missing.

-The level 5 Hurricane that hit New Orleans in the US last year.

-The caothic situation in Iraq during the past 2 years.

-The attacks of 11 March 2003 in Madrid, Spain.

-And the more deeply and moving of them all, the attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon, September 11, 2001, truly the day that changed the world.

1977....cant remember the date. Seeing "Star Wars a New Hope" on the premiere, simply WOW!

28. January 1986, switching on the TV and seeing Challenger blow up...was just weird.

28. February 1986, listening to the radio and hearing that Olof Palme (Swedish Prime Minister) had been murdered, shot at close range, was this the beginning of a Coup D'etat ?, scary feeling the 1st hour. I am no Socialist but those things simply did not happen in Sweden back then. Basically 1986 was a weird year.

16-17. January 1991, listening to BBC world and hearing that the first Gulf War was under way. Back then it was a feeling of "This is it...the end" Scary.

1. February 1993, moving to Germany for my 1st job as a Car Designer, I am still there Razz

17. May 1993, my son was born, now that was a weird feeling.

11. September 2001, no need to comment really.

my fisrt kiss, back then... i was so nervous Very Happy the girl was damn hot!! i can still feel her lips with mine Very Happy Very Happy

a trip to jamaica... went to a "togga party"... yeah, as shown on those chappters, wild party, or something.. very hard and funny experience.

Teeth knocked out in a fight in November 11, '01

Sept 11, '01

Compound fracture in right arm + 3 broken ribs + 2 lost teeth + minor concussion in January '02 (Hit head on during hockey + fall down stairs + ensuing brawl)

First kiss at September something '02

Getting shot by a fucking rubber bullet in '03. (Don't remember) (Most painful by far)

First time to get hit by car, August 6, '03

First time to get serious burns (on back), October something, '03

First time to get slashed by knife (on my fingers) November '03

2004:
January 7 - Hospitalized for serious infection in the entire left side of my body
January 9 - Doctor says I most likely have cancer, but they cannot confirm cuz of extreme puss concentration
January 10 - Operation to identify disease
January 10 - I wake up to the news that the lymph nodes in my left ass are almost gone, along with some muscles. Urgent puss suction takes place the following day
January 11 (Most memorable day of my life) - Live operation. They give me a nice dose of Morphium, slit my leg open, stick in a vaccum, and start sucking the puss out
January 13 - I am told that I will walk with a limp for the rest of my life. Also, I suffer a rare heart disease, and will probably die around 60. No cancer thank god.

January 24 - Out of hospital, only to take semester finals in school. Biggest failure of my life

Febuary 6 - Revelation that I am adopted

October 23 - First time arrested for vandalism

2005:

Somewhere in June:
Lightning hits wing of airplane I am on

Last 2 years nothing really memorable. Just a bunch of shit I've been doing.

1998, when I had an accident with my motorbyke. I was totally lucky getting away with 3 stitches on my lips(can't see them now) and a broken finger...and some burns all over my chest.

My wedding last year Very Happy

A normal day in the army when a practice alarm was real. We went to the incident spot where a fellow soldier was wounded and we had to secure the area and take him away from there. I was a medic that day(duties rotate every day) but somebody from my team said that he wanted to be a medic instead. Medic had the shittest tasks since you were the one to wear the kevlar and carry the wounded. Anyway, he insisted in taking my spot so I took the rpg instead.
Nothing ever happened, since the poor guy was already dead and UN soldiers never let us take him out, at least not until an ambulance arrived at the place. Scary stuff but...fuck these happen. Sad

There are many.. One I remember actually only being few years old Challenger blowing up "above" us. Lived in Florida. Even being so young I still can see the images in my mind.

One other. Landing to Heathrow in early 90's just moments before a bomb had gone off there.

1986 Tschernobyl - I remember then they said on the news that a radioactive cloud is moving towards us and that we should stay indoors and stop eating that and this, but i still had to go to school, despite the radioactive threat.

1990 Ossis flooding West Germany - That was the worst day to remember. They came for our money and succesfully bankrupted our social systems and economy, thanks for that Sad
