I have a little question about MSDN, is it supposed to be freeware? if so, where can I get the latest library in ISO format?

No its not "freeware" and it isn't an application (your question made it sound as if you thought it was..).. MSDN is the Microsoft Developer Network a subscription based service that allows developers to get copies of software before they are released (or after) for use as directed dependent on subscription type. This is mostly used by developers when they are creating software to be used along side a new MS product such as Vista..

http://msdn.microsoft.com/

There are free licenses but you need to be in a full time education course and your college/university has to be a member of the scheme..

Maybe he was talking about the MSDN Library syn, that's still free for online browsing i think. But you can only download from MSDN with a subscription, like syn said.

I was talking about the library, and it actually seems like you can download it for free, will get it now, don't now if this needs somekind of key or something, but the links doens't need subscription

Don't think it needs a key, but you can also download all the keys from MSDN (with a subscription Wink ), i didn't know you can still download the library for free, i have a universal subscription from work, so they keep sending me tons of dvd's and cd's to my office.

Just money Wink there are different levels of subscriptions. The Academix Alliance costs only around €300 euro a year, but if i remember you only get platforms with it. We have a Universal subscription at work, wich i think is the most expensive one and gives you access to everything MSDN has to offer.

hmmm, ok, I like it better for free Wink

but I already got the latest version of MSDN Library dated of May 200, you just have to search through microsoft downloads and then you can download the iso files, in this case it was 3 isos of 650 + 650 + 450.
