The idea that Take Two "pussed out" is a dumb assumption. If that was the case, then they would've backed down on releasing Manhunt, Bully, or any of those other games of theirs that have caused controversy. It's a lot more likely that this is a result of the game's developer (which is not Rockstar) being folded into Sid Meier's Firaxis, which probably didn't want to make a game like this. It's also very possible that the game just sucked--after all, a game very much like this, Gangsters, came out many years ago and this just sounds like a rehash.

I believe it wasn't going to be a great game...completely cel-shaded graphics...
Plus, I mean..honestly speaking would you want kids to assume the role of a drug dealer in a video game? Sure, you can learn some druggie business ethics and strategies...but I would rather my son (if I had one) not be playing games that make him a drug dealer.

regarding "completely cel-shaded graphics..." i think that WAS the idea.to look fake,comic book style.....to be NOT REAL!!..its a game..make believe,etc...
and speaking of your future "kids" what is the differance if your kid played this,a strategy game, and playing some crazed killer,or war,or mutant alien,or hip hop gangster in some shooter game???its all fake,make believe...

@Pluvius---all games have been done before..what your talking about??how many times can they make mall tycoon,etc???
