"The Hills Have Eyes" Yeah! they have! 9.00 on my 10 lenght spinal column...
"Failure To Launch"
If you CAN stand Jessica "Horseface" Parker and Matthew "SmileWhore" McConaughey...
you'll see a pretty nice comedy (romantic).
If you CAN't.... watch it for Zooey Deschanel... and then watch it again...and again...and again....
8/10 ???
am i biased???

Equilibrium 8/10
I thought it was pretty sick.I would love to live in a world with no feelings. It would make things so much simpler

Firewall-6/10. Just your generic action/thriller. Harrison Ford can do this role with his eyes closed.

Hills Have Eyes (1977) 5.5/10. Remake was much better. This was quite tame and boring.

as I've said before, the first half is extremely boring, but since the scene where the father was burnt alive until the end of the movie, it was quite exciting and good. overall a good flick.

Are you sure you're talking about the same version as hahe? (didn't see the orignal, don't know if the dad is killed the same way)
Just saw Haute Tension aka High Tension aka Switchblade Romance. It's gory but that's it. I knew there was a very bad plot twist at the end and i figured it out 10min into the movie.
That plot twist causes the whole movie to not make sense anymore...
Spoiler: | She didn't know the place, so how come she knew exactly where to go when driving around. If she did all those things out of "love" for alex, then why the hell did she kill all those other people (see severed head in the beginning, and the throfee pictures iin the van), the plot was horrible |

Spoiler: | I always have to explain the plot twist to this movie cause people always seem not to get it. Most people just put her in the guy's place but that's not it. She's telling the story from the insane aslyum. What the whole movie is, is what she THOUGHT what happened. The severed head, the van, the guy didn't exist. The whole chase with the car didn't happen. It was what her mind made up while she was doing the killing. Although I do agree that the plot twist was stupid and wasn't needed. |

to add to that, part of an interview with Alexandre Aja about that ending ...
Spoiler: | Q: Whenever High Tension comes up, people split into two camps, and one of those camps is filled with people who hated the twist ending. What do you have to say to those people?
Aja: It’s kind of funny because the first draft of the script, the script we wanted to do, had the same twist but just in the final minutes. You started the movie in the hospital room and she’s telling the story and then you come back to the hospital room in the end, so you have the feeling that the killer was the killer, but then the doctor brought a VCR into the room, watching the security video from the gas station and you realize she axes the guy. That was the final twist, and the twist was only saying, ‘OK what you saw was her vision of the story and the truth is another movie.’
The producer, unfortunately, asked us to give up the last scene in the last reel, and I think that’s where everything became more fragile. I understand the question of the viewers with the twist coming that way, which is not like the perfect way to bring it. I regret that we didn’t have the time or the budget to shoot the two different endings and be able to, at least on the DVD, have the two different endings. |

Running Scared -> 6.5/10 -> Tried some new original things and played with the camera. Though it all seems a little to cheesy and has some flaws throughout the movie.

Simply the most intense action movie i've ever seen, great cinematography, loads of style, superb music, simply brilliant.

Nacho Libre-6.5/10. Was as expected. Not great but not bad either. The wrestling scenes were the best and there were some good jokes in there.

Platoon-8.5/10. First 30 minutes is a little slow but still good and then once they get to the village all hell breaks loose and doesn't stop. Great movie
