I Think it only works for the Euro Patch instead of the U.S patch...

i have tried both patches and the Euro Patch is the only one that installs. Afterwards nothing happens. If someone gets the game to work post in this thread.

same problem here. installed, applied patch from dvd. copied crack files and nothing happens. just nothing, not even an error message

Exactly the same problem, its seem like it's 50-50 to those who get the crack to work and those who don't.

Ok after installing a balls load of windows updates and then SP2, I reinstalled SCCT, patched, cracked and.............IT WORKS! WOOT!
If anyone else is have that no responsive .exe problem, try SP2 if you don't already have it.

do i have to install an entire whole gigabitz brand new old sheet sys-op to play a brand new 1 year old game like scct?
perhaps UNINSTALL it could just be the solution at my problem...

Well, it's up to you if you want to take a couple of hours and install XP or stick with what you have, knowing that you're on a sinking ship. The number of games that won't run on Win2k increases with every day. This one won't run on it, Rise of Legends needed a special loader, and it certainly won't get any better. Win2k is no longer officially supported, so most developers don't care anymore if their product runs on it. Sooner or later you won't have any other choice than to switch. *shrug*

i get a missing binkw32.dll and missing eax.dll error
grabbed the files off dll-files.com now i get unhandeled exception error go figure
gonna try a re-install

seems to be a crack issue. remove crack it asks 4 cd key add crack i get unhandeled exception error. sigh

seems its not the crack ( currently) but rather a problem with binkw32.dll it wont register. Anyone have any ideas on this one?

Mine works good, very fun game, until you die and get pissed at dying.
my specs are:
Nvidia 6600GT
3gb ddr400
amd 64 3500+
I also have no dvd drive, if that changes anything, only mounting going on here.
fuck linux.

i tried to install the game under the administrator account just to see what it would do.
With no succes, the game does nothing when i start the executable, it doesn't even start a process.
Also there are no errors in the event log.
My specs:
intel p4 3.0 ghz
1gb ddr3
xfx geforce 7900gt
windows xp sp2
does anyone have a damn clue were to look for the problem or how to solve it?

maybe this is stupid and doesnt work for you either but i did have exactly the same error as most of you here. it won't run. i waited about a minute after d'clicking the exe just to get a forced error saying that the exe must be terminated.
what did i do? well i just opened up my explorer, deleted all renamed "backups" of the files (which otherwise would be overwritten by the rld crack files) and then took THE WHOLE FOLDERS (maps and system) WITH THE CRACK FILES and dropped them onto the install scct folder.
a message that there already exists a "maps" or "system" folder appears. ignore and just choose "yes for all files". then again start the exe. for ME it starts up showing the bitmap of scct!!
dunno what else i did but before it wasn't working for me either! maybe you all should give it a try.....good luck.
