4.9 is out as well, only the beta though... gives better performance in Doom 3

4.8 does alot itself... increases of 12% in speed it says..nice improvements i say..to other things too.

4.9 Will be out in the 2.9, it will have a nice interface alike nvidia's drivers.

.... providing u got an X800 XT powered by an Athlon 3800+. Those numbers are to be taken with a grain of salt I'd say.
