Does someone know where the savegames can be found, perhaps i find an old one (doubt it). The crap thing about this it that it makes the game unplayable, i was only level 6, but you can easily loose your level 30+, without a remedy. I mean, if it happens once, it WILL hapen again.

maybe if u know where save games are located.. then you could make back up copy each time u play or something just incase... know this sucks, but better than losing all ur data and hard work

Fixed it, removed the newest file by date (there are tons of them, it was a wild quess wich to delete.)
Still find it hard to believe how THQ can be so fucking stupid with there save system, the arrogance that they think that they have a bug free game (me takes deep breath, and relaxes). Well, back to buisness Very Happy .

weird, i uninstalled the game.. and then reinstalled it.... btu it dont show my character in game now ive reinstalled it. I went to the location above and my save game is there but dont show up in game... looks like i gotta create a new character.

Weird that it dont show up my saved character in game after reinstall, even tho my save game data is still there

al you pirate first buy later, if you do buy the game later you cant play it online with youre "pirate key" caracter, why becurs the carcters is in some way bound to the cd-key. but i seem to have found a way arund it. go in to regedit and then to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Iron Lore\Titan Quest ther you see the cd key have the game runing tehn enter the legal cd-key and you can join a game with youre caracter. If you re instal the game (backing up ure caracter first ofcurse) with the legal key ure caracter wont be there then it time to slect him. Eny one know a faster way like finding the file that is bound to the cd-key. I have no legal key yet but if some one can test this i be gratefull. all we really need to know is if the game check the key in the register evry time you try to join a game and not have it in store some were evry time you start the game.

it is not the crack or clone, it's the game, trust me. A bad crack doesn't crash after one hour of game play, but doesn't work at all. The crashes i encounter are pretty random.

i got clone and played, it was fine, but CTD after about 2 hours of play.

i sorted the cd key... but for some reason when starting the game, it gives me an exe error now Sad is the crack knackered?

you just have to go in to reg edit and youre caracter will be back, and hmmmm, the crack is the exe file and it was a exe error might be the crack but try with orginla exe and the asr file way.

it works the asr way im sure as it did before with clone one. I got the reloaded one now aswell and was hoping the crack would work

After 3 or 4 random crashes in 10-20 minutes of play, i deselected that full screen option
and now the game plays just fine for hours....go figure !!!

Only Main Quests = about 16 hours
Main and Side Quests = double, atleast...

And oh, for anyone who feels like editing, I can say it's so extremely easy to learn. I created something similar to a cow level in just 10 minutes before. It's so extremely easy.
And oh, the editor is perfect for checking out future equipments. ^^ I just dropped all the legendary staffs on the ground and then played the map, some staffs look wowza. One of them had electricity sparking around the staff head, and another one with poison had this green dust floating around the whole staff.

I wanted to try some legendary equipment aswell, but I had no character with stats high enough to try any of them out. I couldn't even try all staffs. Just read the:
Modding Quick Start.txt document in your "Toolset" folder (in the installed folder) and you'll be all set.


lol, you fast, I just got past thos 3 bow girls in the grees area. I dont know if I will play eny more b4 i know that cd-key thing can be fixt.

damn, cracked exe on reloaded version gives me exe error when game loading. Using asr on the cracked exe gives me same error too. Seems only way it works here is by mounting and using asr with the clone version Sad

You tried clone with CureROM 2.0.3 and DT 4.0.3?

Mount in DT 4.0.3 with al emulation options off, make a profile with curerom and run shortcut. Works great for me...

cracked exe dont work for me atall. Looks like i gotta go back to the clone one and mount n asr it. It works this way as i just tried it. I was just hopign the cracked exe would work so that i dont have to mount the image on dvd each time.

pvp is acsuly in the game but tehn i dont know if the dev's is foking with us:

The actual "secret" pvp tag is /pvp not -pvp

If you launch the game with this tag in your executable command-line you will only be able to host pvp enabled games and you will only be able to see / join other pvp enabled games. If you have this enabled, regular games shouldn't even appear on your server list.

In a pvp game players can, of course, battle one another to the death anywhere in the game world. There is basically no real penalty for dying to a player except for the normal experience loss, which is only about 1-3% of your current level's experience in normal difficulty for a player level 1-30ish. Players do not gain experience for killing one another, its just for fun.

In a pvp game, players cannot harm other players in their own group but they can attack players who are not in a group or players in a different group.

We did not want to officially announce this feature because it is not "officially supported", which means we make no claim that classes are balanced for pvp. I hope that players who enjoy pvp will have some fun with it and, due to the way it is implemented, those who don't want to pvp won't have to worry about it.

P.S. pvp only really gets fun once you're high enough level to unlock some of the more interesting skills.

elit is after normal, and ther you find harder monsters and better item dropps. on legendry you find some new bosses.
