I have a question. I have played the game todaj, for 30 minutes, done the first quest and buyed some stuff. But when I pushed the button for my skills, the game freezes.
Is that a crash, that every body is talking about, or is this a different problem?
If the game crashes, does it goes to the desktop or just freezes?

Thanks for the advice... Good that I kept my savegame at level 8 as backup (when you choose the second mastery). I took nature as first mastery (because of the healing spells and the wolf summoning which is very useful at the beginning)
I choosed warfare as second, but I am not satisfied with it. the weapons speed is so lame (even with "very fast" weapons), dual wield is not very efficient.

I think I will go back and choose "hunter" instead trying my luck with bows.

...and for the game itself: I think its overrated - beside pretty graphics there is almost nothing new we havent seen in Diablo, Sacred etc. The drop rates are so bad, 99,9% of the dropped items are crap and 99,8% of the merchant items are crap.
Even if I am just at the beginning, I have to admit I liked Dungeon Siege II much more. With the party fights and the character system it was much more fun, the item management was great and the quests more sophisticated and varied. Also the wonderful automatic spellcasting functions of DS II are missed in TQ. But DS II was far too easy, some people say TQ is also too easy ... until now I dont think so, but we will see...

You can only respawn in certain points. And all the monsters and other crap will reappear. So you have to go over that mindless kill fest again Laughing And if you save in certain point and after that you load then you will start at the same place where you would if you die. There are fountains or smt like that all over the map that are so called "respawn points".

Haven’t played Diablo (dint have pc back then) but this save system isn’t like gothic or morrowind etc.

To: DrAg0nBoY

For me the game just freezes and then I have to reboot the PC. Theres nothing else I can to about it. All PC just freezes and thats it.

So this game is stupid and ridicolous like Diablo and all the other hack and slash.

Mine usually froze when I was just playing the game. I dint have to do anything specific to cause the freezing.

If you want to make sure you PC is ok then run some burn in tests like Prime 95 and 3Dmark03 or newer.

Ok. I tried many solutions for the crash. Unleashed release+reloaded crack ->crash. Reloaded release+reloaded crack->crash. Changed Serial ->crash. Revive fix 1 & 2->crash. Gayless fix ->crash. At last I found a solution, I used the original exe (not the cracked one by reloaded), mounted the mcz image found on gamecopyworld with Daemon Tools 4.03 and used the new CureRom 2.03. I played one hour without any problem (before I had crashes every minute)!

I KNOW!!! Its just like in Sacred, had a lvl 201 Wood Elf there, upgraded arrows to burn/pierce trough enemies), with the uberfastsuperspeedshot, plus the spread shot thingy... Man, was so much fun, i feel like reinstalling it now, but it was sooooo repetitive, but damn!! Very Happy
I mean like, just like a STORM of friggen arrows burning and gibbin and exploding and fuckin up anything in their way Very Happy

Exactly! Very Happy I never played sacred, maybe I should try it out then.

The thing that made it into a NEVERENDINGGAME was the fact that the level cap was like, 250? And every single item in the game is randomly generated and levels with you, along with random stats like "Freezing longsword of life stealing", with random graphics!! Sooo good weapon and armor art in that game, DAMN im gonna install it now =D
Gonna get the expansion too =D Awesome new weaps there!

While I dont have an exact date yet I can tell everyone that we have fixed the following in the upcoming patch:

Character Corruption on Saved Games Caused By Crashes
Smarter (Improved) Inventory Placement when you pick up Items
Dialog Windows Closing when Bumping NPCs
Improved Multiplayer Performance on 5 & 6 Player Games

We are looking into the crash bugs being reported. It has been difficult because of the known issues with people trying to circumvent the SECUROM software and trying to get data from those experiencing legit crashes. I just want to let everyone know that these crashes are our highest priority and even though we cant respond to everyone reporting a crash bug we are collecting all the data from you folks and are working towards a solution.

Thank you all for your patience.

Hi. I confirm I've been playing for near 3 hours without crashes, using CureROM 2.0.3 and DT without emulation at all (using clone dvd image of course)

Before that, with other methods, including crack, crash every 5 minutes.

I used to be a knee like you. Then I took an adventurer in the arrow.

Its very strange, I haven't had a single crash since using the Reloaded crack and i've played for several hours at a time. Makes you think it just has serious compatibility problems with the majority of systems
