lol so what. the games been out in US and Eu forever. typical russians to ruin a good game by throwing starforce on it.

Russians dont decide which copy protection they put on the disk - the publisher of the game does (Atari for Fahrenheit). But both publisher and russian publisher want Starforce because there are too many pirates in Russia who illegally copy and sell games cheap (about 2-4$ for a game) Wink

I got an email back from them, but they can't say anything about it, its at executive level Evil or Very Mad But they said they would pass it through to higher levels...

SF4 can be a killer (autoupdater is evil), I would certainly use it for UT2007 if I was the publisher, no dvd clones (3.7x 'clones' are laughable at best) and almost no crackers left

i'd say virtual ide drive can be a killer. some bird says i'm playing flat-out2 (sf4.xxsomething) with a new dtools beta while my original copy is resting in peace together with my collection of original games... of course that bird is totaly lying and i dunno anything about this.

Hard Truck doesnt install cd drivers
Flat Out 2 does
Thatswhy dtools works with hard trucks but not with flat out 2. as soon as drivers used to check the cd your fucked.
