1. is there anyway to change the resoluton?
2.when someone of my party dies his picture turns grey how can i revive him or delete him from my party?

You revive him with a simple revivng magic, the chick has it if I'm not wrong in the begining of the game( not Imoen, the second). And don't forget to pick up your stash.
About the resolution... Yes you can change it in the new versions but it turns buggy as hell, my suggestion is to leave it as 800*600.
(I'm talking about Baldur's gate 2.. The magic is the same in the first one too, About the resolution- I'm not sure.)

i dont have a revive a magic
and if there isnt how do i use it?

There are scrolls with this spell , you should find some. And also you can revive characters in in temples.
