dunno if this has already been mentioned, but over at gameburnworld there's a fix available for the ctd's (which, aren't crack related). If it's been mentioned, give me a bit of grace here.

First of all, don't believe that GAYLESS nfo, what a bunch of bullshit, get a brain  anyway the Unleashed and RELOADED releases are wonderful working releases, it's just a developer fuckup.
STEP ONE!
Unpack the included rar into your /resources/ dir inside your Titan Quest dir and run one of the following files:
MYHAIRYASSSMELLSLIKETNTWHENITSCLEAN.BAT if you have the game installed on c:\program files\thq\titan quest\
MYFEETSMELLLIKETNTWHENTHEYARECLEAN.BAT if you have the game installed on d:\program files\thq\titan quest\
NOTE NOOBS!
If you have the game installed on other locations like on another drive or in another set of dirs, then open one on the BAT files located in your /resources/ dir with notepad and change to the desired location of your choise. Keep in mind, you still need to unpack the included rar file to your resources dir.
WE WILL RETURN, REMEMBER THAT, NEXT TIME YA ASS ITCHES

somehow i really don't trust... this group... or whatever are they.. In the rar there is a stlport_vc7146.dll file.... may try just with it....
But i've a feeling that untill the proper patch from the devs, there's no hope fore the "fixes"

Playing the Reloaded version the game does crash but not that often. Maybe once every several hours.
The only problem I have is that sometimes when I talk to NPCs the text and audio appears for a second and then disappears.. Pretty strange. Anyone else have this problem?

Does all the time crash on my amd3200 64 :/
its pc-related lol

Or.. you can follow "vespas" solution, and end up with no crashes anyhow hardware..

Yes! it works!!
I've used a part of NeHoMaR's solution:
First of all: I didn't apply the ReTarded crack.
I dowloaded the mini-image from gamecopyworld and used CureROM 2.0.3 (had to make a profile where DT is loaded with all options on, only in the profile, don't touch daemon tools!)
It made a shortcut to my desktop with a loader or something.
the game didn't crash and I've played for one hour or something (without crash at the end) befor its crashed every 5min.

I have that problem when I was standing too close to a NPC, any NPC not just the one I was talking to.

Well, I have tried many fixes, the gayless one, ruiing w/o the crack using CureROM, miniimage and DT. Tried reinstalling it and so on. The game still crashes and I need to reboot. Everything goes black and I can't tab out or ctrl-alt-del and turn the program off. I have uninstalled it again and hopefully they will get a fix or a patch out in 2 weeks so that me and my friend can play thin on our LAN. But until then, I'll wait.

Got it to work now. Played for 2 hours now. All I did was remove all virtual drives from DT and then exit the program. Worked fine, for now.

Finally got this game to work - had the problem with clicking and not moving etc - using Reloaded the version, I switched the titan quest.exe into Windows 98/Me compatiability mode and ticked turned off advanced text mode and it works fine for me

maybe bow or Hunter/nature is a bit overpowered(at the end).
I thought legenday is a bit more challenging than epic.
I played Storm/spirit and nearly every boss on legendary 1hitted me at some time =/
On the other side normal melee mobs are down before they even reach me.
I would say that 90% of my deaths in leg. was because of bow mobs.
The -res really hurt alot =/

Yondaime what's your average dmg, attack spd and dps with your Ranger buffed?
I'm currently playing a Ranger in Act2 normal, but atm i dont feel like it's overpowered

This game is really buggy. I haven't a clue anymore to what to do to get it to work. Apparently from the screen above this bugs are only crash related and from what I've heard both legit and copied versions have alot of bugs in them. If it were only copied versions I would be glad, but come on. People have paid their hard earned (supposedly) money for this and it's just bad that it works like this. Come on people, less drinking and more patching. Can't wait unil wednesday when the patch gets here. I just hope it fixes everything because even if it crashes from time to time it's a great game. Can't wait to play it in coop =)

i have these Doctor Watson Crashes showin' off some DLL files randomly..it happens after some minutes of playing or at the best moment of a game (Boss)..
how can i fix this sh*t?..i dun wanna re-launch TQ everytime i play it..thou when crash happens everything's auto-saved  D..
The 2nd thing is that when u run the game at full screen and the crash happens YOU MUST REBOOT the PC by ya nuts..if you play on window,u wont need to reboot,since the crash will show the Doctor Watson error...¬¬..
So,any fix for these probs?

Lets hope that patch comes soon, I didn't care much about my crashes before, but now I hit a spot where it's impossible to pass, tried entering the Acropolis in Athens for the tenth times now and it always crashes on the same spot.
