See, that's it!! This game just reminds me of a land-based, post apocalyptic, Freelancer. Obviously FL dicks this in every possible orifice, but still.... HTA has that whiff of Freelancer about it.

It works perfectly, but usually it pays to explain exactly what you mean by "not working" >_< Open config.cfg (in the DATA folder) and find
autoPlayVideo="true"
Then simply change "TRUE" to "FALSE" and it will work. Oh and always save before changing areas, as the game has a propensity to crash during area changes.

It shouldn't give you any CTDs except on rare map changes. Try setting the EXE to run in Administrator Mode, DON'T install to Program Files/ProgFilesx86 and also try setting the compatibility to XP-SP2 or Vista-SP2.
