Vista my ass the only way to get this game to work is to pay 40 euros for it.

Its useless to post the file like this, you need a serial anyway, otherwise you only have 14 days.

Some ppl say, there are a working WPA crack for vista. Although i didn't try any. It doesn't reset/stop the day-counter, but you can log-on after the testing period (yep, 14 days) expired.

Yes i see your point Wink
When you buy a game, you get a CD/DVD, something you can see and touch, manuals, covers, there's kind of a "glow" around that.
Downloading, we're just sitting there looking at the KB/s counting Laughing waiting to finish.

Unfortunately many people don't have the money to buy all the games they would like...
Maybe i will buy this one Cool

it's impossible to play flatout with a wheel. gamepad is best for arcade style racing games like flatout imo. use your momo to play live for speed instead Wink

I hope they fix the lack of chat in game reported in flatout 2.
Back in flatout1, I worked with another modder to create one of the first internet -play tool and we got in game chat working (The game was using LUA as scripting language and we used directx overlay for the chat). good times !
After thought, I think the best solution is the one adopted by crashday (too bad the game was a let down) : use macros instead of chatting in game. you dont have time to write anything in game Smile

Well, I completely disagree with that. Both myself and my 10 yr old daughter had a blast playing Flatout 1 with momos and they worked perfectly.

Racing wheels can be incredible fun, no matter what game you are playing it with. Personally I prefer a joystick to play racing games with -- keyboard just sucks, too little control.

Thats very interesting. CD version is always working with Patchtool. Then we might see a release soon.
BTW, is the russian release russian only?
And where did you found that information? (Always curious to read the whole article of this Smile)

It wouldn't be such a big problem if that russian version is russian only. Just think about it, you install the english version from that hommade iso, and play with the russian disk (and with the russian executable, if it's needed).

i dont think that will work.

i did the same with rise and fall. i installed the german version and used the english unleashed cd and it didnt start the game. i had to install the english one.

Could someone with the russian version check if there are files like this in the game folder?

filesystem
FlatOut2.exe
FlatOut2.rar
FlatOut2.url
fo2a.bfs
fo2b.bfs
fo2c.bfs
protect.dll
protect.drv
protect.exe

I wonder that if you install the russian version, and then copy these files from the multilanguage version and start with russian disc, would it work?
