u guys expect too much. why fix what isnt broken? CS has without a doubt the biggest fanbase and the best teamplay involved. why would u want to create a whole new game when a 4 year old one is still the most played game on the net. also if you want physics to be involved so u can blow up walls and stop them fom entering play sumthin like enemey territory. again you want too much from it. and i admit some of the maps can be outdated but when u think about the maps as a playable map they are. they offer multiple entry points ways of winning tactics. its not just a case of creating a map in a dusty enviroment and adding a crate here and there.

I also read that they want to add new stuff later. What stuff they ment...I don't know!
The CS maps are old but very balanced, so why wipe them away? I'm looking forward to this.
If only the pre loading wouldn't last so long...2 hours and still only 84%

No it'll work for everyone it just takes the right tweaking. For not logged in, although the readme says use your steam email, i found i had to use my steam username. Then it'll either work or say not subscribed, if its the later set SteamAppId=5.

as of now it just lets you preload it. tomorrow when the activation takes place you will know if you can or can not play it

I got my Steam ATI-Bundle Account and My Counter Strike: Source Preloaded!!! wooooot!!!
just gotta wait for 'em to "Open" it for Gameplay! cant wait! cant wait!
I havent had a Legal copy of somehting in Ages !!

How do you get the beta preloaded ?
I am using my friends account that he created with is 9800xt code that came with it.
Hes not gonna play the beta so Im wondering how does it work on steam whan Im logued on under is account name

I knew not spending money on Doom 3 will be a wise choise, I rather spend that money on HL2 which will come with CS:S which will own.

Click browse games, Register a product I already own, enter the key, it will know based on the key what products to register, then your set.
Then you can double click CS:S preload under comming soon and start the preload, I did it last night (got my coupon on ebay for sooo cheap) and it went really fast and worked fine.
