Example:
You can use WASD keys in DMC to move, right? <- this is important
Now, run JoytoKey
1. Push "Create" button to make a new configuration, name it
You can see "Button"," Keyboard", "Auto" columns on the right
2. Choose LEFT from the list and double click on it
3. Type "A" in the very first field to assign
Now, every time you press LEFT on your gamepad, the game thinks you actually pressed
"A" button on the keyboard, so your character moves left.
Repeat steps 2-3 for WSD keys
DONE. Minimize JoytoKey and start DMC
You can change other buttons in the game (in options) if you dont like them. You only need JoytoKey for WASD keys

But is it posible to change the direction buttons so that it fits on the left analog stick or can i only change them so that i can use the D-Pad?

You most likely can. I only have cheap gamepad without analog sticks, just D-Pad, so i cant tell for sure. People say it works with analog sticks fine Wink

Is it possible for me to play (and enjoy) this game with a keyboard and mouse? Does it have much of a slowdown problem? I'm running a not that great rig:

Athlon XP 3000+
Radeon 9600 128mb
1gb ram

Should I play it now, or wait for the US version?

if you find it necessary to have enter mean accept and esc mean exit then wait. if not then go and play.

Mouse is not supported. You can use WASD to move and choose keys for jump/melee/guns/special in the options. Playable with keyboard, but still much better with gamepad.
Your system will run it fine i think Smile

game is really awesome... Smile I'm currently visiting level five since I downloaded it just yesterday and had no time to even launch it. Looks nice, runs so-so (depends of location) and IT IS playable on keyboard (however pad is more than just recommended) of course game was better on PS2 Smile this is abvious. I'm wondering. Since both DMC3 and RE4 would be availible in PC so there is really short way to convert it and pull out on Xbox... don't you think?
