Ok, someone needs to explain how they got this working on vista
i installed the latest dtools on vista beta 2 [public] , the program works fine, installed the game, installed direct x files, when i goto launch the game it does the starforce cd check and says cannot verify.
so, if it is possible plz explain how to get it working on vista beta 2 [public]

Common guys this is getting a little pathetic ...
Either you do have Vista beta 2, either you do have a USB dvd player, either you don't and that's it !
If you're desperate, then just buy the fucking game !
BTW, this game rocks it's true, but there is not split screen for multiplayer. Thus, you can only race Online or on LAN --> kinda difficult to have two USB dvd drives or 2 comps with Vista on it ...

when is there ever splitscreen for multiplayer on PC?

I call BS on getting this working with vista
i have tested myself with no success, unless someone can explain how they done it
it's a no go, wait for crack or buy.
i'm going with option 2.
by the time crack arrives it will be to long of a wait.

hi again...
..some ppl says that you can also run the game with DT4.03 on windows XP, if you install that (unofficial?) SP3 crap.
Maybe it contains some vista like stuff and it causes starforce blind ;]
But i didn't tested this, i wont install crappy unofficial service packs.
