What about 2x http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/96094 - I don't game using over 1280x1024 much, but I love big desktops.. however getting 2 should give enough desktop space.. assuming they sit well next to each other :\.. I could even use the 2 for gaming maybe..

I was loooking for a replacement of my 19' CRT myself, but couldn't come up with one wich suits all my needs. I found it difficult to find a screen wich has nice colors and all, and is still useable for gaming. These are the ones i had in mind:
Dell 2007WFP, it's on special sale here right now, nice reviews and it has hdcp, though the early one had branding (sp?) problems, wich kept me from buying one.
NEC 20WGX2, has the best overdrive S-IPS panel atm, but they ruined the whole thing with their glare foil :/
Samsung 204B, didn't look too bad in stores, but i really don't want a TN panel.
And i'm not sure about wide screens and gaming, i'm not gaming much anymore and my x800xl might not be fast enough to play the games at the native resolution of the screens.
Please let me know wich model you buy and if it's any good, i'm still looking, though i might go with a 19' (Samsung 940Fn with 2x DVI in, wich comes in handy)

One of the links above is for the Samsung Sm203b, its going for a decent price (£264.51) and has a nice native res/response time.. Cant seem to find a review though :\
The Dell 2007WFP is £325.18 with the 25% discount which is way over my budget unfortunately.. It does look like a wonderful moniter!
Then the NEC is even more expensive haha £405.32.. crazy stuff.

I have read a review of the 203b in a computer magazine, it was quite good, only the resolution of 1400x1050 concerns me, it is nice for desktop work, but i don't know for gaming, do older games support this resolution, most seem to support 1280x1024.
Some reviews of 20' can be found here:

There are 20" tft's that do 1600x1200, they're just more expensive..
I've decided to up my spend amount to suit the costing of what I want, I now have £360 to play with (still not much, but I really cant go any higher..).. I was thinking that 2x19" would provide a better amount of space than 1x20".. plus it might even come out cheaper.. So if anyone wants to point me in the direction of some cheap/decent 19" (about £185 each..) that would be helpful ! I know so little about TFT's having never owned or bought one..
What about this one..

hmm, does the Hyundai have a DVI in, it only says D-Sub on that page. I would never buy a TFT with only an analog input, that's why it's so cheap i guess.

I bought a samsung 203b last week and i'm pretty happy with it. nice color, max resolution for windows is 1400*1050 which is more than enough imo (any bigger and i wouldn't even be able to read the text on the screen anymore). Most games support widescreen nowadays (like Prey for exemple) and i'm currently playing Far Cry which doesn't support it and the image doesn't look stretched to me.
Mostly playing in a resolution of 1024*768 and it's good
I payed it 399€ / 511$ /276£

yup, in the same screen where you can set the resolution, you can choose 4:3, 19:9 and something else.

Ok, going to pull up an old thread.. so I bought 2x Hyundai ImageQuest B90A.. Do I need to worry about screen burn? Are there any apps out there to remind me to take a break? Or that will change the screen colours every so long to stop things from burning in?
