for some ppl this stuff isnt so "duh"... apparently the nfo didnt explicitly say the hosts file, and then you instruct people to put it in the "host" file which doesnt exist and probably confuses them even more.
fyi for those who missed the boat, you dont actually enter all stars, there was a key in a different nfo (presumably the one actually packaged with the game you downloaded, not an nfo you saw posted somewhere).

anyone with a brain knows that keys are removed from most sites for the obvious reason of being attacked by game companies for listin serials to thier games. thinking that you need to enter asterisks is just plain dumb. and uh wtf are you talkign about? the host file is there and always be there. you dont create it.

He is right about the host file it is there. However If it is dumb for (Me) a NooB to follow the instructions EXACTLY as they are written and fail to come up with the disired results, then maybe it is dumb for the people writting these instructions to fail to make them idiot proof. I am not so stupid that I cant relize how idiotic this mistake I made was, but I didnt even know what the hell a NFO was untill just a few days ago. I have managed to get several wonderful things from the web and this is the first time I have really made a stupid mistake ! To IcedFreon I say this, Ya It was stupid. Thanks for at least helping me get through it. BTW I have had a couple people I know (also NooB's) make this mistake. This is new 4 us and we R still learning!!!!!!!!!! I really hope that someday when I know better what I am doing I will not treat people so rude when they do somthing stupid. One more thing, can anyone tell me where the hell the anykey is????? lol.

the game works fine but i have pronlem when i want to go back to desktop after i exit the game i am getting black screen with active mouse on black frame...and i can not go back to the desk top till i restart...am i the only one who got this?

Mine goes back to the desktop just fine. Do any of your other games do this? If so check to see if your video card drivers are up to date.
