Hmm, after a conversation with someone I decided to see if I was right.

Now for example, if i had a car registration (number plate).

Can I obtain the owners details either as an individual or as a business. Not including the police or any government services.

I swear i saw something on the TV saying that it was possible. theres a number to ring etc... hmm... anyone?

p.s. this is based for the UK. Smile

I don't know about UK but in Canada it is not possible to find out someones personal details about their licence unless you know someone who works in the Motor vech. branch.

Think about all the guys who wanted to check out a women driving a car, or road rage stuff. I know I don't want my personal info out there.

For business here, I believe you can request a persons driving record for employment, but that is about it.

There was a website mate but I lost the link you would type the Reg Plate in and it would give you the car details I cant remember if it gave you the owner+addy I think if you wanted such information you would have to contact dvla and it wont come cheap something like £30 if I remember right.
