my ipod recently broke after 3 years of faithfull servitude, without it i feel limbless therefore i have decided a new mp3 player is inorder!
i have no clue whats any good anymore on the mp3/4 market .... irivers archos etc
any help appreciated!

I think iPods are overrated, and iTunes is simply bloatware, god do I hate that crappy app.
Sure iPods are good but overpriced and I can see better alternatives today. For a better price that is.

Creative Zen is simply much better the ipod.

As everyone has said.. IPods are overpriced fashion accessories, they're not bad MP3 players, but for the price you can get something with far better sound quality and far less bloat ware..

the vision m one .... the reviews seemed very good.
i'm in nyc at the moment so its 300 bucks here which is ok i suppose , tho same price as equivilent ipod!!
