Bought a new PSP today, was lucky to get one with 2.50 firmware and no dead pixels. However the left button from the four on the right side has a different pressure point than the other three. It's hard for me to describe it in english, it feels kinda lumpish if you press it.

Now my question to you guys is if this is a rather commen problem, or is it a sign of a nearby break, it's working now and i wouldn't care that much for it if i knew it would function for the next years.

Haven't downgraded yet, so i could return it, though it would be a bit of a hassle.

Any input appreciated Smile

The first models had the buttons placed too close to the screen, causing issues with the left hand button.. I don't think its fatal, personally mine has been fine and I got it on day 1 of Japanese release.. so who knows..

Is it the square button? If so then it's normal, they made the contacts different for it to accomidate the LCD.

[21:38] <Voyevoda> when you get it down to 1 aid

And diagonals are fucking impossible on the D-Pad. Think I pulled one off once after about 5000 tries.
And why is everyone afraid to call it the square button.
