Oh really? Then how do you explain that the American one has the disclaimer and the European one doesn't? It's obviously because the rexona legal team was scared that some retarded American was going to attempt the stunts in real life and sue them for not having a warning text in their commercial. And why did their legal team think that? Because of generalizations? No, because retarded Americans have done just that in the past. If there wasn't a legal precedent for it they wouldn't put the warning disclaimer in the commercial at all. If the retarded fat American who sued Mcdonald's for making him fat HADN'T sued Mcdonald's for making him fat, or the retarded other one who burned herself on their coffee because it didn't have a warning label that said the coffee was hot HADN'T sued them for not having a warning label that warned her the coffee was hot, this disclaimer wouldn't even fucking exist in the first fucking place!

The funny thing is though, that the true reason for that disclaimer has totally escaped you. Its not because they think people will do it, and could probalby care less if people killed them selves. But what they do care about is people that will do anything for money, and use the old "I didnt know" play dumb additude to do something that they totally know will hurt them, then sue for big bucks. I call this capitalism at its most creative. But they must just be retarded right?

God damn, just look at anything thats sold. If anyone does anything that aint stated in some text and it hurts them, they sue people.
Face it, americans are sueing others for not using common sense themselves.
Coffee is hot
you get fat if you eat at mcdonalds every day
you can't microwave your cat in order to dry it
cruise control in a van won't drive on the road for you
SOMETHING must be wrong if people over there do stuff people here would never even think of. If I get a coffee somewhere and happen to get some on me. I say crap, ouch that was hot and thats if. I don't sue someone because it was hot. I fucking know its hot.
Let me get an example going here.
I had a job for a while preparing machines for shipping. Big machines used to work with wood and so on.
Every machine shipped in europe had a manual that were about 200 pages thick.
The ones going to america had a special manual with 50 more pages in the beginning telling you what to not do. They also had extra stickers saying that you should not put your hand here and there when the machine is running because you would loose your hand.
If there's something pressing wood I sure as hell won't put my hand in there. Most people here won't do that. But for the american market is MUST be stated what not to do.
I would not call that anti-american. I would call it the fucking truth.
