Men aren't exactly the smartest people in the world to start with, and now it turns out that simply sharing a bed with a woman can make men even dumber.

A sad new survey proves that men lose IQ points every time they sleep next to a woman, according to New Scientist.

While researchers may have initially blamed the phenomenon on some sort of vampire effect, the real reason is that guys can't get a good night's sleep because women are always moving around and making a ruckus.

Bizarrely, women naturally sleep more soundly then men, so even while they're twisting around like a crazy person, they're snoring right through it all.

"Lack of sleep led to increased stress hormone levels in men, and reduced their ability to perform simple cognitive tests the next day," the journal reported today.

haha, laugh now but I remember reading that married men or men living with women generally live longer then single single men because their wives take better care of them.

These men do not eat frozen processed and factory made chicken burger patties for breakfast. Very Happy


@ everybody else
In the past I have used 2 separate blankets. One for me and one for him. I have actually converted 3 couples to this. I know 2 couples that bought 2 single beds and put them together. That way they are on separate mattresses and if one turns the other doesn’t feel it. There are ways around this problem if you use your brain.

I think it is kinda nice waking up with someone. You can take turns bringing coffee and tea to each other in am morning bed. Then you have the quicky morning sex. What could be wrong with that?

Well, I like sleeping with women. I usually get better sleep when i have someone next to me.
And the majority of the women ive slept beside didnt move a fuckin inch while they slept.

I don’t think that article was very scientific. I checked out a couple of the links too. I think people sleep next to someone better. (unless it is a new relationship or person) AND you got your own blankets handy.

Seriously, my friends swear by it now. Very Happy

I guess it has to be a really big blanket so when someone hogs it all there is always some left. I almost always have a spare blanket on hand.

I dont really recall someone who hogged the blankets enough for me to not have anything. Usually im right beside whoever im sleeping with and if we roll or something, its together. Maybe ive been lucky and got good sleepers...?

What position do you sleep in. I usually sleep on my side and on my back. I can never sleep on the side of the bed closest to the door. I don’t know why. The closet door has to be shut too. I think you might be a bit of a blanket theif. Laughing

You could still steal it and wrap it around your body leaving the other person out in the cold. I am sure you don't, but lots of blanket hogs do (not that you are) Lots of times I don't use a blanket.
