http://www.adm-studios.com/nanobyteonline

* Nanobyte Online is a real-time online world set in 2020. The world has become dependent on computers, digital technology and specifically - the internet. Every transaction, item purchased, military system, school network and local business mainframe require the internet.

* You play as a hacker who works for VivalCorp, the biggest underground freelance agency in the world, employing millions of agents to work for the many clients that are affiliated with VivalCorp. VivalCorp's clients may require you to do things like breaking into a competitor's system and stealing vital files, or decyphering massive data problems and breaking encryption algorithms using your powerful software and hardware.

* Play online with your friends, chat, trade, and help one-another complete those insanely hard missions that you can't seem to get passed. The best part yet is that you can make clans and then compete for the ultimate hacker clan within the Nanobyte Online world. Clans also have the opportunity to make their own virtual in-game server. Will people have the guts to hack it?

* Build the ultimate computer with over 30, 000 unique hardware parts and items that you can collect, purchase and trade throughout the Nanobyte Online world. These parts not only help you complete missions faster, but they also come in handy for the mini-games and benchmarking gameplay too.

* Overclock your hardware way over the limits with the extreme cooling range, from vapour-cooling to nitrogen-cooling so that your computer is the best in the Nanobyte Online world. Imagine a nice quad-core 2.0 GHz computer overclocked to 6.0 GHz on some of the most advanced technology known to mankind.

This is a cool game, too bad only testers can play online atm but the missions you get in offline mode is cool, if you want to help me get beta testing go to
http://www.adm-studios.com/forum/
and register there and refer to the nick "krishabang". The alpha download link has been taken down but there is a mirror at the forums so join there if you want it Razz
And remember that you won't be able to play online atm. There will be a Open Beta but that's just in beta 5.0 so there's some time 'till they get there.

The 9.0 alpha is not public i think, but i could upload the Alpha 8.0 so you could test if that works because you probably have 8.6. I'm uploading alpha 8.0 to rapidshare now, it's gonna take awhile i will edit this post with the mirror when it's done.

you can cancel the upload, i found a way to solve my problem.
i had to change my gfx card driver dx properties for best quality, and run the game in window mode without fade option.

I actually don't think you need to have the bouncer software running when you are connected, but i think you have to have it running when you are connecting. And hurley, you could try posting the bug on the forums but I don't think it's going to be any use since the alpha testing is over now, but i dunno.

Did you download it from the link i provided? If you did you have to open the QuickFixA8.zip and put the NanoByteOnline.exe in the folder where the other stuff is and replace the other .exe, if that doesn't work go to their forums and ask for help? But i think that's the problem.

You'll have to wait awhile for the missions, because there is going to be a closed beta before open beta, probably a few months from now or something Sad

It will be interesting to see how much they charge for this..Monthly or one of payment..It could be pretty good game but i can imagine them charging an unrealistic monthly price...:-/

I also think it's stupid that the are even thinking of aa monthly fee because i doubt they will have such a big community that they would need so much money to get the servers working and stuff, they're a little over ambitious.
