its never comming out the alieums took all copys last night...i was awake to see the beams of light and millions of copys floating up to there ships
i dont know what they plan on doing with millions of copys but they also took all PCs that contained anything to do with the source code
its safe to say were all screwed because i saw all this unfold

yea anyway while tiedie was comming down of his crack high, i called up eb games and gamestop, and they had no idea. i asked the guy at gamestop if it had starforce and he said "i wont know until the box comes in today" lol now sicne when do boxes list the cp? have i not bought a game in that long?

yes games come in boxes... just like dvd's

Well the publisher is Vivendi Universal. And this publisher use Securom 7 for their games. So it would be odd if it has SF suddenly.

SINCE WHEN DOES A GAMES BOX LIST THE COPY PROTECTION. even tho they dont they should.

yes its funny that they use protection to force people to buy games even tho the ppl who wouldnt buy them anyway or cant buy them still get them for free.
so i called the stores again, these ppl are clueless. someones gonna have to release or buy it to confirm. id go nab it real quick but fuck that if it has SF you cant take it back once its opened.

After talking with Vivendi Tech support I explained that I would need to know the protection that was on Flatout 2. He put me on hold went to the tech supervisor and said they had removed the starforce protection system debugged it and added securom 7

also Just for Info the patch stuff that unleashed released does not work! I used Phiips 52x media and I still get error so I will wait for Daemon tools pro ....something worth having is worth my money for the support!

You mean publishers removed starforce and added securom by themselves? Sounds weird. I allways thought that publishers get pure product and add prots themselves, except Russia maybe.

Vivendi is the distributor and Sierra is the publisher they are all in house in California including developers as well as programmers so sierra added the securerom 7 protection thats all I know but one thing they said the game was not released yet!
they said first week in August tho.
