hello guys,
I have a question. how do i put subtitles on a DVD movie?
for example:
when i am downloading a 700 mb, or 1.4 gb movie in divx format and i want to burn it with subtitles i just put the subtitles on a cd withe the movie and thats it.
how do i do it with a dvd like : Lucky.Number.Slevin.PAL.DVDR-SCREAM
how do i put subtitles on the dvd?

My DVD reads .srt files. So I just put them with the movie and when I play the movie I have the subtitles.

thats quite helps me..
but i need to know the exact location..
on all dvd's when you browse the disc there are 2 directories..
AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS
where to put the subtitles file?
and another question.. can i burn the movie with the subtitles through Nero..
to open the dvd using deamon tools and to start a new iso.. to copy the contains of the dvd and to add the subtitles?

I don't think it's possible to put a .srt on a normal dvd, u have to import it somehow. I remember doing this a few years ago, it was alot of work but maybe things have changed..

it's not
.srt are plaintext files with the text and their times written in one text file
subtltle files, as defined by the dvd standard and read by all actual dvd players, are bitmaps
that is, every single subtitle is a tiny image with the text on it
there are software to create these
never had to do anything like that, so i can't help directly, sorry
