Cheers, now I will be able to lead armies to slaughter, pillage, rape and burn down entire armies, villages to the ground and let the wind to spread the ashes to the ones next to be slaughtered, pillaged, raped and burnt- they can smell what is coming in their direction. Death has an apointment maker, thats me.

Yeah the demo is nice it runs very well on my medium well done system.
Too bad there is no campaign map in the demo but still the battle at trebia is pretty cool, nice to crush the romans with the war elephants.
Menus and details are well executed.
You can see a lot of work has gone into this game.

First impressions:
without doubt the best battles you'll get in any strategie game. Not just the great graphics (some graphics options seem to be locked, you can only play on medium settings and it still looks fantastic), but the interface, everything. Very good battle control, and an awesome atmosphere. Everything seems to be realistic, AI reacts realistically (fleeing, scared etc), great animations etc. Absolutely top-notch!

doesn't look as crisp and clean as the screenshots I've seen so I'm hoping it's just missing the necessary textures for that detail (I was however able to set most settings on highest/high so I'm not sure what that means - you also get advanced details when you start the game and goto options while playing - like glare or something).
The game itself is sort of what I expected, but the speed is phenomenal in comparison to the old games and the camera controls take some getting used to (probably need some tweaking on sensitivity too - which is available in the menu).
I also found it incredibly easy on 'hard' - destroying their whole army with just a minor exercesion on my brain lol.
Yet to try Expert.
What will interest Animal Mother is that there is an option to desynch animations so that they don't move like clones, even if they look like them close up.
Other than that it's great and what I expected - i will say this though - apart from Shogun I've never been impressed by a single demo of this franchise, and in the case of Shogun I was still unsure so don't let this demo put you off - most enjoyment for people like myself comes from the huge and involving campaign mode.
and I can't wait, histortical battles have no significance or emotional impact for me, that's why I need campaign to truly enjoy the game.
But it's great and it runs smooth as hell, it's even better than MTW and Shogun in speed terms and that's just not funny

i like it, but the things that is miss is:
1. The taunting before the battle begins.
2.Viktory animations and cheers when battle is over

I'm really not impressed. I suppose this wasn't my cup of tea at all.
Yes, yes I'm back.
