Played the demo, it's funny but imo the game is overhyped, it's not a game i'd play for long untill i get bored of it, but if hack n' slash is your type of game then i guess it's an awsome game. For me it gets repetitive

ok so you get a certain time limit for the entire game and if you dont beat it fast enough you have to start over from the beginning. And you only get one save slot. Thats gayness.

There isn't a certain time limit for the game, you just have to be in the right place at the right time for the storyline missions (aka cases). So lets say it'll give you half an hour to make it to the food court area of the mall, which is more then enough time. Once the story mission starts you have unlimited time to complete it, unless of course a time limit is integrated into the mission.
There are the overtime and unlimited game modes aswell of course.

True. You can reload your story progress, start the game over from the beginning, without restarting your character progress. So you can level the main character up, and restart the game, possibly allowing you to reach portions that were previously inaccesible.
So while there is only 1 save file, you dont have to start over from scratch everytime you wish to replay a section. Also, this game is supposed to be fairly high in replay content, and Ive read mention of special unlockables being available on the LIVE Marketplace. I just picked it up, so if I find out that Im completely wrong, Ill post a second opinion.

Wow.. so Ive been playing Dead Rising all evening (and some of the morning) and Im sold. Its everything I was expecting and then some. I hadnt seen it mentioned anywhere yet, but its F'n hard. I was expecting it to be a fun romp with tons of zombies etc etc.. and it is.. but my GOD is it hard in places. Ill be playing this game well into the future. Hope you all enjoy it, Id been looking forward to it for so long, I bought it and I think its well worth it.
