We already installed RRAS and build 2 DemandDial VPN's. The Domain controller on NETWORK-1 can reach the entire network on NETWORK-2 but the other servers and clients can NOT reach NETWORK-2
This is also the case on NETWORK-2. Only NETWORK-2's DC can reach the entire network on NETWORK-1 but also the other clients and servers on NETWORK-2 cannot reach NETWORK-1.
On both DC's is RRAS with DemandDial VPN's installed and get it's IP addresses from DHCP. Also RIP Routing Protocol is installed.
Somehow the routing for both networks is not configured correctly. What are we doing wrong? I've read a whitepaper from Microsoft containing a step-by-step guide to create a site-to-site VPN but this guide talks about an internet gateway using another Win2003 server and we use hardware routers.
To make the story a bit shorter How do we (with the above hardware and configuration) create a site-to-site VPN or some others call it also a router-to-router VPN.
Please don't reply all at once
