nah there are ways by raisin your knees your cock moves up a bit too and as long as you don't roll about (so your balls fall under your arse) then you'll be fine  .
ASometimes though I have crossed my legs too quickly and heeld myself in the balls. It's not good.

This is why I usually squat .. even in a couch I will put one foot underneath me .. don’t like to confine my shit .. never wear briefs .. nothing or boxers .. free the balls

It is good to wear supportive underwear sometimes.
I wear supportive gear when i work or i am training/playing sports
After a few hours of running/jumping/moving around without support, your balls will start to hurt. |

Talking about positions. When I was working in the hospital this older fellow (85-90) came in with a penis inplant. It was like a piece of wood was stuck inside and there was no in between stage. Well, you're not a guy so you can't really say we're sitting wrong. Just like a tight bra might irritate so can tight jeans for guys Or an uncomfortable pair of undies. The elastic just squeezes one nut and it uncomfortable for the whole day and you can't rearrange because it always bugs you when you're in public.
I sit normally and sometimes they chafe It's not bad but it's bothersome. I’ve got a small set so I’m kinda lucky.
