I don't use cracked exe. I just but the DVD into my DVD reader and it works... Laughing

actually most patchers check the crc of the executable

These days they do. That's why I always keep a backup of the original .exe. However, I'm getting used to using ripped images since you don't need a crack. Meaning you can update freely. The only hassle is having to mount the image for each game.

I think that the registration process on their site is glitched.I cannot reach step number 3 as each time i finish step # 2 it immediately send me back to step #1.Then when i try to register again with the same email it tells me that a key was already sent to that address.

And i tried with both Firefox, IE and another mail account but it's still the same.

On the joinfear.com site or in the game ??

I pre-register when I 1st heard of FEAR Combat a few days ago. I never got the cd key. I tried registering, but as said before, it's glitched.

I had to use the Forget CD Key? option and it sent it to me instantly.

Not sure quite what I was expecting....but this has got to be one of the most boring multiplayer FPS's ive ever played. 16 player deathmatch devolves into just running in killing 2+ people who are hopping around and kicking like herpes infested rabid jackrabbits and dying as the guy you just killed respawns behind you. How people can play this for more than 5 minutes at a time is amazing, and says something about what the gaming population is becoming as a whole.

You can fix custom resolutions in the config file, but I guess you are too dumb to figure that out.

to get key just add 1st avilable answer in the registration and u get it! ( question: u own FEAR allready?! o_O if yes why will i need free key?!) i played FEAR when it was not for free on private servers it was fun...but low population at all! but i got fx5200 so u know how i play it Sad LOW LOW LOW OFF OFF OFF) and if u wanna DL F.E.A.R. COMBAT and ur not from US u can get it here (1.8 GB)

1280x1024 is 5:4 not 4:3 which looks better.

fuck linux.
