Oke i was thinking about that one also but i have 2 questions

1. Is the Xpertvision/Palit GeForce 7900GT 512 MB (Retail, TV-out, DVI) not better because it has 512 mb?

2. I have a Forton 400 watt ATX is that enough for a 7900GT?

Spec:

AMD Athlon64 3800+ S939
Asus A8N-E Motherboard
1.25 GB Geheugen
3 Harde schijven
Plextor DVD ROM 16x Zwart
HP DVD 16x RW LightScribe Zwart + New XFX 7900GT Extreme 256 MB

Thanks Smile

Xpertvision/Palit WHO? would be my first question.. XFX is a very good, well known brand, produces fantastic products and also has an amazing support/returns service (lifetime warenty I believe). Plus its not always about the amount of memory, its about the speed and also the quality of the build, although most cards are reference the HSF can be different (better or worse) plus the bigger companies get the better end of the chips, meaning they can be over clocked further.

Looking at the speeds, the RAM speed on the Palit card is a fair amount slower than that on the XFX, there might be more of it, but it will take more time to load in an out of the memory. The XFX will perform these operations faster and will probably give better performance overall.

1.25 GB memory
3x Hard disk
Plextor DVD ROM 16x
HP DVD 16x RW LightScribe + New XFX 7900GT Extreme 256 MB

I think you should just try it. And if it won't work you can always get a new PSU

btw, the choise of the graphic card is really good... I had one of these and it just rocked!

Good advice, its always good to replace the stock cooler on any GFX card, unless you get something with a none stock cooler already attached (I believe some of the BFG range do this, but thats about it..)

The Accelero doesn't fit on the 7900GT so a Vf900-Cu is tha best imo
