Man, I hate to the negative one here but that game looks like a totally standard/boring mass-unit style clone. Does it bring anything NEW to the table?
Don't get me wrong, I love WH (I play Fantasy and 40k tabletop) but this RTS looks totally standard with a WH Fantasy skin slapped on top.

Well after a few more games i agree. Flanking dosnt exist in this game at all. In fact the most effective strategy is to just select all units and attack and thats it. The battles are short and not very exciting to look at (i.e. a "hero" empire unit charged a pack of 24 skaven rats and he killed like 7 with each hit....he wasnt a giant or anything just a regular human size...looked silly)
But i have high hopes we will see a fairly more interesting gameplay that we have right now, it can turn into a good game.

What made Warcraft 3 a good strategy game was the massive amount of unit abilities and the different ways you could combine and manipulate them to win. Maybe this game has similar strategy elements.

Its warhammer..units very rarely have multiple abilities, if they are, they're very basic. Unless they're going to completely walk away from the system (which will annoy all the fans of the table top game) it won't happen.

You guys did play Dawn of War, right? If you don't use strategy in that game you're dead meat on harder difficulties. I know it's not Relic but they might as well "borrow" a few things from that game.
