Sometimes I feel kinda sorry for the trophy wife or woman who marries for money. I don’t think it is all it is cracked up to be. Men with money usually have money for a reason - They are power hungry, overbearing, stubborn, work-a holics, perfectionists, and know how to hang on to their money. The guys are not even faithfull and don’t don’t have to be. What type of life is that? ....then lots get traded in for the newer model and there is never a shortage of stupid women willing to take their place.
I would go out with a guy that didn't make that much money as long as he knew how to live within his means. There is nothing wrong with going without something. I think it can make you a better person and makes you appreciate things more. |

Gold diggers come in both genders by the way.
And for every gold digger, there is a rich person who overcompensates for insecurity and lack of personality by relying instead on money to charm and acquire partners.

Let me put it this way. I love my husband very very much. But lets look at an alternative life. Lets just say he wasn't working and we're both on the dole. My kids wouldn't enjoy good schooling. I wouldn't be able to afford to take them abroad. Some crappy little council house in a shit area. Where the youth is on drugs and into crime. Hell the more I think about it the more I think that that's not life. It's existance. A pretty poor one at that. I mean I struck lucky when I fell in love with my other half. After all we can't help who we fall in love with. I suppose it's similar to a woman that goes back to her man time and time again after he knocks her about. She probably loves him and can't stand the thought of losing him. Or a man who stays with the same woman even though he knows she cheats on him.
