i can recommend tagan, had one for a couple of years now and it has been excellent through numerous pc upgrades, was even good enough to run a 80 watt tec aswell as my system.. not recommended to do that though

Sharkoon Silentstorm, though they might only be available in Germany. I have two 480W of those for almost two years now and they are really nice and have a reasonable pricetag. Seasonics are also good but quite expensive.

I just purchased that same PSU! Neat finish, sturdy but not too heavy in weight and the different voltage lines perform very, very regular (before, I had Antec TruePower but after 18 months started to blow fuses).

Dont buy a Hiper Type R either (Unless this was just a one off....) I Bought one of them for my new setup hit the power button for the first time and BANG!!! Sparks came flying out of the PSU and smoke came out.... Main thing I was worried about was my Brand new £250 XFX 7900GT Razz.

I just went to the PCWorld Store and bought this JeanTech PSU and its been working great Very Happy...

Oh yea, Dont knock Cheap PSU's... I bought a £5 PSU that was 180watt for my old computer and its been working great for 4 years considering all the stuff its running - Athlon XP 1600 oc'ed to 1800, 512mb DDR Ram, Geforce 4200ti, DVD Burner, CD Burner, DVD Rom, 160gb Hard Drive, 80gb Hard Drive, Soundcard, 5 additional Fans and LCD Display!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy (Maybe thats why it gets a little hot Wink )

But for building a new computer always use a high quality psu Smile
