So under windows i run 1280x1024 an everythings well, but when i go into a game it seems like the resolution is much lower and it does'nt seem to change when i change it, no matter what resolution i set it to it looks the same. Is it the fact that i have a LCD monitor? The set resolution for it is 1280x2024 so there should not be a problem. Can someone tell me how this works, the whole LCD thing? Cos i don't think that's the reason.

If this should be under the n00b section i'm sorry Laughing

frist yes it should be under n00b Laughing
wich game is it?
what kinda monitor u got?
u can check your current res by pressing menu or similiar button on your monitor
btw this thing works like any other monitor out there it displays image Razz
u can change res in your display driver option, same thing in game go to options/video etc..
not calling u stupid or anything but u don't have to be rocket scientist to figure that out by yourself Rolling Eyes

any game! I noticed it on Oblivion and thought it was just because it's a buggy game, but later on GTA showed the same deal. Now i ask you, is the fact that my monitor has 1280x1024 native resolution mean that i cant really change the resolution at all so all these games really are 1280x1024 but look less because of, i don't know?
