Well, I will continue playing to see if levels become better in design and enemy KI (not only hordes of enemies but a few more intelligent ones would be welcome).
by the way: did anybody get this game running under WIN2000 ?? on my machine I get a failure message about USER32.DLL. Its only running under WinXP.

The Game is quit fun. I played it for 3 hours now. The graphics are good and the gameplay too. Yeah it's a simple shooting game, as simple as Max Payne 2.
And it's pretty unfair to compare this game with "moorhuhn". You sound to me like the typical german who loves strategy game and tries to destoy the 3d shooting scene.
If it's too stupid for you, so just try to count the bullets during the fight or play another solitair session....

Well played it 4 a couple of hours too, three chapsters, i would give it a 7.0 till now, . Lot's of killing, little variety, always on the same way a bit boring tho, nice gfx, game runs smoothly everything on max, i hate the german languange like 'ich werde dich radieren' ich werde dich vernichten, du wirst mich nicht entkommen, or something like that, always the same kind of yelling. But i have to play it, don't know why, was waiting for a decent shooter. Well the slo-mo is nice but not more then that. But entertaining 4 rainy days like last weeks over here

No, thats not true. I am enjoying shooters since DOOM.
But shooters have evolved, too. See HL2, FEAR, FarCry or Prey. You may call this one "back to the roots", you may call it "stupid" or "boring", all a matter of taste, I think.

Dont overwrite the file localized.dat in retail version but open the demo localized.dat with winrar.
In the dir \LANGUAGE there is a file called stringtab.txt extract it to a temp dir.
There are also english sounds in the same file here: \DATA\SOUNDS\CHARACTERS
Extract those to a temp dir.
Now open the localized.dat from the retail version and drap & drop the files you did extract from the demo into the coresponding directories.
The final result, the game text is fully english and a lot of voices are english to, but some will stay german because they where`nt available in the demo.
