this version runs 10x better than the demo and thank god for that.1024x768, sm3, shadows low, anisotropic filtering, everything else medium. runs supurb.

I can't hang my dick out like you, but it runs flawless for me too. Everything on highest setting running at 1440x900@75Hz.
A64 Venice @ 2.5GHz, 1GB 450MHz DDR, 7800GTX 256MB.
My machine ain't no top-notch one, so stop complaining. It's working very fine indeed! |

I call BS. I have an X1900XTX and the game does not run silky smooth at max details, 1280x1024. The main framerate killers are the shrubs and grass. When there is a lot of that, my fps drops to between 10-20 fps and sometimes even into the single digits. Either the game is completely optimized for Nvidia cards or you guys have different definitions of silky smooth than I do.

1. Mounted image with DT and installed
2. Put asr.exe in game directory
3. Ran asr.exe, pointed to CoJ.exe
4. Even tried putting on all Emulation options in DT.

Hmmm, I should get fraps to check, but I cant complain about any drop in frps, at least i don't get the feeling that its choppy or anything.
The game I think is pretty cool though, sort a cool story and pretty much a really good FPS. The Chrome Engine kicks some ass etc etc.
The IA is pretty stupid but, hey no matter. like the quick draw thing with the 2 cross hairs, at least something new.

When U mount in DT, point at the COJ_START 20 KB file not the big one.
Thats what i did and it works. I was poiting at the big file and I had the same prob, could be that you are doing the same thing.
Only have the RMPS on in Emulation.

I will say this like in almost every thread that needs "asr.exe" to start..
DON'T put the file in the game directory, rename the file to anything you like (I have "tryme.exe") and put it somewhere else.

uh it runs jsut ifne named asr.exe. and i have it in the game dir lol

I just have the asr.exe somewhere, actualy in my start menue, works just fine, did the same with El matador and NP.

Yes maybe for this game, but for eg. Titan quest you needed to change the name, atleast me and 2 friends to get it to work properly, and they couldnt have it in the game.dir. Maybe it works for some, maybe not for others. You have to try everything, just because it works for you guys doesnt mean he shouldnt try.

Doesn't work for me. The game doesn't even begin to load. With asr or without, the coj.exe just ignores me. I would expect it to be polite enough to show an error message or something.
Same for safe mode.
i7 6700k @ 4.4 GHZ, 2060s, 16 GB RAM, SSD, Windows 10x64.

ive never had a problem getting any clone to work, especially not sr7 clones. unless the blocker or whatever was outdated. and i dont fuck with sf clones. and never any renamingof programs etc. just click and go.

LOL, that is just marketing bullshit as usual, to get more people to buy nVIDIA. I have an X1900XTX and I run the game flawless (50-60+framerate constantly) on the highest setting.

-Weak AI (particularly when you are sneaking, they forget where they saw you in a second - also the AI seems a bit "hypersensitive", reacts too quick sometimes especially when you are sneaking - Combat AI is cool though)
-Linearity - It is annoying not to be able to go where you want, scripting is way too obvious in this game
-Spawning of enemies - When you walk through certain lines in a level, more enemies are spawned in. Again the map designers/developers made this way too obvious, so it seems fake and annoying yet again.

Im at chapter 4, im suppose to find another way to the train; After the bridge broke, I swim down the river, got to the other side. i jumped to the other side. I allways get bused when i sneak up to the little camp with 3 guys. There is a cave there. Looks like the compas tells me to grap a branch with the rope or something, but dosn't work in the branches iv found - any ides?
