try unmounting any other securerom games, i had a problem running blood money before (retail) and unmounting a securerom game fixed the emulation prob.

this is easy one:after you talk to the blue uniform dieing soldier in the train- take he's rifle, go back till you can go down to the land (where the machine gun was) but insted of going to the machine gun land side - just go to the other side, flank the hill and you will have few guys to deal;) kil them and you will be able to spot the bar that lock the door, shoot it and go back and go on:)

now..i am stuck and i think no one got this chapter yet around here:( i am on the level with the 3 graves - and the poor man grave showed me the opening of the gold cave - but i can't move it so i need something els to move it, and above the stone there is a tree and round rock that should probably fall into the rock that sit on the gold and removing it. but the place is big and none climbable and i don't understand the clue's..that cross on the hill of the cemetrey and that caktus? how the hell they connected to that round stone i should rich? and how do i rich that ston location above the unclimbable hill?

if anyone passed this allready - i would like to get some help.

I only have one virtual drive, and the game is mounted in it.

Also just tried Securom v7.26 Loader - still the same conflict. Tried it with emulation off and then with RMPS on.

My problem was a DVD-region free tool that was sitting in the taskbar. Quitting that solved my problems.

All I can say is that i get total crap performance out of this game. I hava an Athlon 64@2,7GHZ and a Geforce 7800 GTX, 2 GIG Ram. I am in the city right in the beginning and the framerate is in the 20s, even lowering the resolution or detail doesn't help. This is unplayable for me.

Yeah, don't forget that "Techland" dev team already made Chrome which wasn't optimized at all too ... maybe they should meet some devs of the Source Engine , they'd learn a lot Laughing

Chromeengine3, which is what CoJ is running on, is optimized a lot. Loading times are pretty fast, they always finish for me when around 2/3 of the text has been spoken and framerates are great. Some people just have questionable hardware setups or do not know how to maintain their computers.

also , i forgot to mantion - that this is one of the better games i played for a long time:)
graphic is great - sometimes two fingers from photo realisem (ilution maybe-but a good one)
there are angles you are climbing up clif and the sun come behind tree's..very realistic, and also faces looks great. gameplay is preety cool..i like the fire effects and the glasses also very nice and i do think that this game can be very good OPPONENT
for the: "game of the yeaR" Smile

but...this is only my p.o.vWink

P.S. i am westerns fun and my fav is:"the good the bad and the ugly" and..i was looking for good vitual expirience witch will give some of the movie atmospher - and call of juarez doing it not bad at all:)

Yup this game realy rocks hard for a FPS, just finished here and the ending is...well you will see, INTENCE!, Best story I have seen for a long time, dam it, this could have been written by Sergio Leone Wink

Scripted or not, COJ is realy just entertainment...like a film or a good computergame Smile no? Razz

4600+ X1800XT 2GB Ram. Performance are really low setting all to high. The graphic is really worse than oblivion one but the game is anyway more heavy.

That's just weird, maybe its true about the Nvidia optimization. Here the game just runs really smooth.
