2001: A Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick
I understand it's classics and shit.But what a boring movie.I was telling myself:"chill out. it's 1968 movie with great effects".And you must agree,that interiors of the space stations look so beautiful and authentic.Of course open space effects don't affect you as they would in 1968.
But what about the story.No story,no good acting.It's good, I read the book once and knew,what it's all about.
Disappointed.
7/10 only because it's classics and Kubricks

Hehe. I'd burn you for that! But I did happen to doze off during 2001  It's a movie you have to be in the mood for, unlike clockwork which you can watch everyday or Strangelove. !

Shocked you've never heard of Westworld? What about the follow up Futureworld?
Incidently, did you know it's the same story as Jurrasic Park, except the settings and the bad guys have been changed.
Both books by the same author. Michael Crichton. |
