If you're referring to syn as a female because in your eyes they're less capable of using technology, then you're so wide of the mark it's laughable.
If some people can't be bothered to read up on the site before they even register, then in my eyes they should be shown the door. I wouldn't say they're uneducated at all. They're just lazy people after a free meal.

i can't believe these are two good examples of the mods here. it's kinda fun with the witty banter being tossed aobut, but otherwise the closest example of a forum having this kind of flavor would be something along the lines of www.winchesterkennelclub.com.
to simply flame debating issuers is generally thought of as an ignorant thing, then to toss gloria steinheim into the topic smacks of 'cold fish'.

Well I interprete your post as derogatory towards syn. Think of it as a drill sergeant calling his men ladies. If you think we're no fun then maybe you should take a step back. Look at it as insulting your friends in a playful manner. However you would take offence if someone you didn't know started insulting you in the same way. Anyone would.

Well, to be a bit fair, or maybe just sympathetic, to those you're referring to, it took me a bit of searching this site to figure out what it is.
I kept looking at the release notes, scratching my head, clicking randomly all over the page looking for the torrent link.
I have the feeling that you guys leave it a bit ambiguous, just to snare a noob or two so you can flame him...cause that's what I'd do.  |
While I agree there should be something on the main page that states there are only Nfo's available for download, it's still quite clear that there are no downloads here.
There is a sticky in every single forum
Time and time again ppl make threads in this section asking where to download and are subsequently closed and the person banned. These should serve as an example.
Yet, like the guy in this thread that ask "ok so how the fk do i download?", ppl still post with the same stupidity.
Any forum on the internet has rules of some kind and yeah, its the user's responsibility to find out what they are if they want to use the service.
Anyone who cant take the time to read one thread in one post, that is located in every subforum, shouldnt be here, simple as that.
If you read the forums, nforce is a pretty liberal place. Alot of shit is allowed, even the odd flame or two, as long as it isnt to vulgar. Again, anyone who goes to the trouble of registering should be aware of the fact that there are No warez downloads here. If they cant take the time to read the rules like everyone else did, why should they enjoy the service with just a warning? half the time there is a debate and flaming from noobs if you simply say "There are no downloads here". Ppl bitch and complain and talk shit. Its better to ban, as is clearly stated in the rules and then have the thread closed

This is so very entertaining, the whole thread. What I continue to wonder is why people come to web sites and assume they will be made to suit their individual needs. It is as if they think this site is a public utility or something and you are required to tell them that there are not downloads here! Nforce is not required to provide you with an all inclusive service to anything..
Nforce can make their site define what "they" choose to make it define... because that is what you get when you make a web site.
If Nforce does not want to post downloads to "super cool free sh*t" they don't have to so stop asking and getting mad because you chose to look for downloads for three hours instead of spending 5 minutes on the FAQ.
If you want a super web site with links to downloads THEN MAKE ONE! Don't go to other sites and say .."Your web site is not what I want it to be wah wah.."
You chose to come here, no you cannot blame some torrent site. You chose to write in the address or click the link. YOU chose to spend your time thinking there was something here that was not, so there for, you are responsible for being frustrated and should not take it out on the people who mod here. Be grateful that some one did spend the time to write FAQ for new people. Be grateful that there are rules to read.
Thanks guys for making an enjoyable site. I have lots to learn and look forward to my time here.

a bit of help for those who are still demanding downloads...
Read the FAQ and you will come to learn that there are no downloads here, I read it myself and realized it soon thereafter.
This is how I find nforce to be very useful...
I look at the NFOs and find out what is out there (yes, I admit, I am a porn addict) and then go on and find it. The NFO section lets me know that the file is somewhere out there (not in nforce) and I just need to dig a little to find it.
example:
I see by looking in the NFO section that the latest Belladonna movie is roaming in cyberspace, so I move on to spending every waking minute looking for it on the sites that I know do offer such files.
I hope that helps a bit.

I got lucky. I read the notes from COJ and once I got past WinRar and install I had no idea what the hell I was reading. I had winrar several years ago and never used it but I am figuring the fact that I play the demo release of COJ that I do not need to winrar it. But burn with a10 and rmps checked blew me since I have the game installed and do not want to burn it. then it goes on more about whetever rmps is needed to be done..
I am an old C64 using noob, I can't program and I can't follow all the lingo yet.
I am now disabled so I have many extra mineuts on my hands and I got lucky to read this thread first so I don't have to ask if there is a d/l that has more than what I have already. but what I could use are some links to help us noobs. I went to the 2 links in the begining of the thread, Rules and faq, faq is empty but maybe I need to find controls and open somthing that says more than so much time since post. Well what ever, help a noob please. tell me where I can go to get a better understading on what you all seem to do in your sleep.
Thanx, I hope if it is done maybe ther ewill be a stiky for it so more noobs ca get a start without saying stupid stuff that gets them flamed...

This is just downright hilarious!! You mods sure have a job on your hands, at least its entertaining, at times annooying, though. eh? I have never had any confusion as to this site's purpose. If I had any questions, I would actually READ the previous posts, instead of being a tool about it. Some people hve no etiquette.
