Thinking about upgrading my PC with these components

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ 2.4GHz Socket AM2 1MB, BOXED w/fan
MSI K9N SLI Platinum,nForce 570 SLI,ATX, Socket-AM2,2xGbLAN,DDR2,Firew,2xPCI-Ex16
TwinMOS DDR2 PC4200 2048MB Dual Pack KIT ,w/two matched DDR2 PC4200 1024MB CL4

Does that look like a good set-up?
Could need some tips Smile

You only getting Cpu, motherboard and ram?

Anyway.
Change the ram to Geil or OCZ.
Faster ram with better cooling.

Just going for motherboard+cpu &ram yeah, just upgrading not getting a whole new rig.

Is the Core 2 Duo Intel or both Intel and AMD (not too geeky about hardware i'm affraid)
was looking at an Intel CPU E6600 or something thats supposed to be good, but it costs more than i was thinking i was going to use for my new hardware, but maybe i'll cash out the extra so it'll hold for a while

ya go with an E6600 or E6300 both overclock verry well

get e6300 overclocks without problems to e6600 with stock cooling[good one]
no need to pay extra Wink
