this one and Rig 'n Roll im waitin on Smile

@-=Cartoon=- - some of us like to play truck sims some like porn games and some likes rpg's and fps, let each other decide what they wanna play and dont put down a game that u havnt tried...
gameplay not gfx is what makes a game worth playing...

sure doom3 got damn nice graphics but the gameplay , that ur supposed to runaround like a scared chicken aint my cup of tea, this game might not be ur cup of tea but let ppl have there own definition of a good game...

full version

Quote:

Allow me to definitively clarifiy a few things:

A) Steering has been fixed
B) The brakes have been made more realisitic
C) Town setup in this game is better than 18WOS:AA, there are sometowns you guys could not have seen in the demo
D) Day to night transition is pretty well done. You can expect day to night transition as you traverse USA just as you would in real life.
E) Problems with swithing gears has been fixed in beta testing.
F) System crashes and choppiness

Even if you exceed the system requirements for a game that does not mean you will not have issues with the game. Computer software is funny like that. I do not experience computer choppines or system crashes in PttM. Microsoft train sim crashes my computer and I can't figure out why.. I run a P4, XP pro and a $100 ATI Radeon graphics card

G) PttM has rear view miirrors and they are ADJUSTABLE!!!

Allow me to point out a few things: PLEASE READ!!!

You will thank me in the future

A) The interstate highway is more complex than 18WOS:AA. You MUST learn the MAP and the highways for each city. For example, some highways do not go directly to a city instead they will bypass or connect to another street that will take you to your destination in that city...

B) Brakes, remember you are driving a truck and you need to give yourself enough room for breaking, after all, your not driving a car lol

C) Your REARVIEW mirrors are Adjustable

D) Try view key #9

E) At the wear houses, there is a moving green box. You can drive into this box to simulate sleeping.

F) As far as the time and sleeping goes, you will find time to sleep as you become more fimilar with the game. For example, you will come to know how much time it is required to take a load from New Orleans to Seattle. Thus you will figure out how much sleep you can get during the trip.

G) Some of you destinations are OUTSIDE city limits on a dirt road. The dirt road may not be easy to see.

I'll be back with more later on.

thank god the demo was only 1 hour long.

first few minutres were interesting..

But honestly.. i dont know how people can enjoy this.

A game like this may be good in 10 years when we have photo realistic scenery etc.. but at the moment its just .

Get orders > Drive > Pickup goods > Drive > Drop down goods > sleep > get petrol

then repeat that a thousand times

The funny thing with the demo was when i got in i started to drive a bit and before i got to where i was supposed to pick up the cargo the game minimized then the pop-up with "this demo has expired blah blah" came up, i though the demo was 60 mins play time but i only got 3-4 minutes Sad

Uhm, why do you have to know C++? All I get from there is only to write a utility.
