If we need to talk history here lets take something more generalising:
USA & Britain along with several other western countries toke several parts of the world and had more land then anyone else in the history of man (though it could be compared to the Roman empire). They toke and enslaved, killled, and used their hospitality to improve their kingdom.
And when you compare that with todays "War on Terror" then you see the killing, the monopoly game (oil) and countries which are controlled by a foreign government.
Oh and btw they made the roots of the numbers you see today! So incompetent? Not a chance!

I vote no. You can't just judge a book by it's cover We can't blame the majority for the minority's acts. And in ours days it's little to do with religion. I believe it's all about politics and the religion is just one of the instruments to achive the goals. I think that there are men that are using the low erudition and culture of the people in some of the islamic countrys and by making them to believe that they are doing something in the name of Allah, they just chase their goals, masked under the religious acts.

I am not religious and have no care for it.
Would have been interesting to hear the jewish opinion if this was about a global zionist conspiracy tho. Haha. Lets not go there. Anti-semitism and all that.
Just had a good discussion with some christian colleagues at work today. I used logic to rip apart some of their beliefs. It was great. They were trying to convert me but I think I converted them. Haha. Just like philosophy class.
Having said all that... I do respect all religions as they give ppl answers to currently unanswerable questions. This leads to security for the weaker minded. So fair play to 'em. Let them have their comfort blanket.

You do know that time is a relative thing? If the Earth stops spinning, there is no "time". Time is a purely physical phenomena.
One could say that if the Earth stops moving, time will cease to exist, but people can still move and do stuff. So things can happen if there is no time.
If a person passes into an ethereal form, he will bypass physical restrictions, thus the idea of time will not apply to him. |
